@JackpotRacer

We have set max profit at 1BTC for now fixed. We needed to set it there until the userbase has grown and the bankroll is stable, then we will go to a pool percentage but not below 1 BTC.

We obviously have no credibility here on bitcointalk, and the post wasn't with the intention of solicitation rather to announce our block so we could get the game up.

@marlboroza

It's a simple social game where you just place a bet and cash out before the game busts. I don't like my block so far, I've seen 2300x and way too many other huge multipliers.

Since I'm posting anyways, we are offering 25% cashback to our first 25 depositors if they lose. This might be over quite quickly though, and the cashback takes a few hours to check the server and confirm deposit amount and an admin needs to be online.

It's just for a fun social side project.

So you are bustabit close, licensed I guess?
Could you please give more specific terms of your 25% cashback promo? Like min, max amount? Terms of losing and so on?
As for the 1BTC max bet - could you show us your cold storage? Because to accept this big bets, you need to have 200-400BTC site bankroll.

I think you did the seeding event a little wrong  Tongue You need to look how it was done here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=922898.0

Basically you need to include the full details, have it archived a few places and most importantly tell us the terminating hash well in advance of the client seed getting picked. I'd recommend pickign something a few days (or more) out, to give everyone interested a chance to archive it and what not.

Without committing to a terminating hash (and thus the hash chain) there's no point even using a client seed actually =)

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Thanks for that info.

I love your sig Smiley

We will look in to this and can do a hash seeding event again, with notice if required.

For what it's worth. We aren't winning. Haha.

15:15 KOBAdmin: The client seed is the had of the block we announced. They say you need to announce it way in advance. We did it like an hour. Still it makes no difference. The full information is available online.
15:15 KOBAdmin: Only disagreement I've had on that is from someone who's sig is #1 game online bustabit

First of all, my signature isn't a jab at other bust sites (even ones using my source code) but rather was at all the casinos (especially dice sites) all claiming to be #1, so I thought it would be funny to claim to be #1 in a niche where I was the only one Tongue If you take issue with it, I don't mind changing it.

That said, what you've said is not correct. The problem isn't that you only did it with an hour in advance (which is unideal) but that you didn't tell us how the hash terminated.  The entire point of the seeding event is to say "we've already predetermined the hash chain, but to avoid us picking something good or bad we will mix in a salt that is impossible for us to change".  In your case you didn't prove you've predetermined the hash chain, so after the salt was picked there would be nothing stopping you brute forcing millions of possible hash chains (with that particular seed) and picking the one that was best for you.

Please don't think I'm accusing you of doing this (or cheating), I'm just saying it's possible. And the very fact that it's possible, means the provably fair was done wrong.

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Thank you RHavar for the information. I know quite a bit about bitcoin, obviously not enough.

If done incorrectly, we welcome the help to have another hashing event and are researching this ourselves.

I've been around the gaming business for a long time, and I have absolutely no intention of skewing odds whatsoever, in fact one of my favourite things about crypto gaming is provably fair games. I find it considerably more re-assuring when playing electronic games (rather than in real live) when they are provably fair.

While I'm confident our game is fair. The house edge over just the few days is within the reasonable amount (considering during testing our admin account lost by far the most coins) so the profit and it's percentage is skewed considerably.

I welcome the help to do it properly. PM me more detailed instructions and I will pass it on to the developer to correct any possible mistakes.

Thanks again for bringing it to our attention.

Much respect for being willing to do things the right way.

Pass this on to your developer as mentioned by RHavar: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=922898.0

Looking forward to see the site but I do hope you differentiate it from bustabit in a meaningful way.

Hi All:

First off,

Thank you for your help and advice.

We are going to run a new seeding event. In the interim the game will be run as normal, with a notice on the homepage of what we are doing.

We will be using Block 467777 for our seeding event. We will seek advice from RHavar if necessary to ensure all components of the event have been completed, and completed properly.

When we approach this block, the site will come down for a couple hours.

Thank you all who contributed to this thread. The best way to do things, is the right way.

Never heard about your site before but I will check it later, while roaming around few pages I have found that under stats page https://www.kickourbit.io/stats bankroll is in negative. How this can be possible and I think this is just a bug  Cheesy

Hi all,

Assuming we have followed the directions, which we are pretty confident we did - thank you to @RHavar for firstly pointing out the error reporting the terminating hash and helping guide us through the process.

Please save and archive this info, I know it may be a bit lazy but I'm only posting it here on bitcointalk, I'm a major member of the Crypto community, and the one forum I have never built a major rep on is bitcointalk. Other than the spammed PM's I've got to say thank you for the feedback and advice. It's been constructive and very helpful. I'm a major believer in working together as a team.

I may have mentioned this earlier but this site is one of many projects for me and something I've always wanted to run, it's a hobby but will be properly allocated the required resources. I'm a strong advocate of fair gaming, and bitcoin in general. I can't wait until the block comes to ensure everything was done perfectly.

I have an excellent dev, but he's moderately new to more advanced crypto procedures. He's going a great job though adding features and a different look to the site. He built us a quick admin panel, and we will soon roll out a loyalty program. Obviously we have to replace nyan. Still thinking with what we should replace it

Anyways I digress.

Our terminating hash is:

b56d715cb8b77f2b31292d4aee377b5d019d20f59c05daf631a0607eb990807f

Our server secret is the private key of this address. It unlike RHavar, does not contain 10BTC, it's not liked to any hotwallet or anything.

1NK5gVraawUuPia5ARTQUNh5cUPKDLPiBj

Finally we will as mentioned be using the hash from block 46777. We will have the site up and running again by block 46780 at the latest.

If you need anything further, please let us know. Also, if you want a feature added. Let's do it.

Thanks KOBA

Oh yeah, this was a bug. We are still working on the best combination of displaying bankroll. Ideally its the funds in user wallets less their available balances + hotwallet, @RHavar feel free to weigh in on this.

We are still playing around with the stats. Unlike BAB we have started with a hard cap max profit of 3btc, so bankroll (which is part of the algo to compute max profit on bab, again I'm not the dev) but I believe this is how its done (surprisingly I'm not a big bab player, but like the social aspect. I think it's a cool little site). Anyways, bankroll is not as important.

I was asked about cold storage for large payouts. Wins will be honoured, but while I get more comfortable with the hotwallet system, and running a node remotely I will likely keep only 3-5 coins in the hot and process any win higher than that manually... but without delay. We are working on having chat mods online around the clock who can reach me directly very quickly should such a payout be required.

Transparency all the way.

i have a withdraw from kickourbit hanging cause the hotwallet is empty, i wont shout scam yet since i have withdrawn without issue before but this time no support msg replies and hot wallet is empty, be very wary of this site from now since its got no cash to withdraw, the stats say max bet3btc yet its not its less than 0.03 and the hot wallet had 41,000 bits..not great but i'll wait a while longer before i make a full dedicated post about whether you gave me my winnings or you just scammed me.. we'll see i hope it gets sorted.

If you did access the website link you will able to tell what game does it offer.I will tell you already this is just an another Bustabit-clone game website. I love the simplicity but nothing matches the original ones. Chatbox is too big than on the game platform which i dont like and seeing on the chatbox that withdrawals have been canceled because their hot wallet is empty. Is this site still operating? Too early to have issues.
