That's odd.  The Blockchain site is up for me.  While it's annoying that their fee estimation is terrible and their wallet is known to be buggy at times, I can't see a problem myself.

If you need a better wallet though, just get a software wallet like Electrum so that you have real control over your funds (and if you can be bothered, download Bitcoin Core).

You can use the blockchain wallet on your smart phone, I think it is very safe to use a blockchain wallet or otherwise like a coinbase wallet

Online wallets are never secure nor safe – you don't hold complete control over your Bitcoins, hence, there is always a chance that you will lose your funds (due to hacks, bugs, malwares, etc.). Better use an offline wallet, OP. It's much more secure and you have control over your coins – something like Bitcoin Core (if you can bear/handle downloading more than 60GBs), or use a light wallet like Electrum.

That's the most stupid thing I've ever seen.  The wallet is exactly how someone is keeping their Bitcoin.  Sure, they can deal with their Bitcoin in a different way, but that doesn't change the importance of choosing a real wallet.

I think that you didn't you have not set the fees for the transaction or you may set the fewer fees for the transaction. Please set the minimum required fees for the transaction or make it more. Nowadays blockchain wallet transaction is getting confirmed more 10 hours or more with the regular fees.

You are having problems accessing site itself but other sites work perfectly fine? I can see that blockchain.info is up from where I'm browsing at and it only took a few seconds to load the whole site. Have you tried resetting your modem? The next time you opt for fast and easy to use wallet, download electrum or multibit. It does the same job as blockchain.info wallet and you have real control over your funds.

At first, you must understand how is blockchain? It's SPV wallet and all of the control about your account is by the provider.
But will be better to use MultiBit HD or electrum and you will be able to set your setting on its wallet. Such as making your reliable transaction fees. Both are dekstop wallets.
But, Did you not get an attention for your problem from the blockchain itself?
Looks very odd to me.

Blockchain.info wallet is just fine for me and it do loads very fast without any hiccups and I'm confused why its happening to you if you can even surf on other sites without any problem. One thing comes to my mind which is try to reset your modem just like what being said above by one member because usually these cases do happen that you cant access a certain site not only on blockchain.info.Give feedbacks if it do work.

Big news except not. All online wallets suck. Blockchain.info is a great way to store small amounts of BTC for newbies or temporal change addresses, that's all. For the love of satoshi himself, do not keep your BTC anywhere but in your own computer, and ideally run your own Bitcoin Core node to help the network.

Security depends on how users keep their bitcoins not just by looking at the wallets they use

That's the most stupid thing I've ever seen.  The wallet is exactly how someone is keeping their Bitcoin.  Sure, they can deal with their Bitcoin in a different way, but that doesn't change the importance of choosing a real wallet.

Online wallets are not secure.  That's just a fact.  When you put all of your money in an online wallet, Bitcoin is no longer a trustless system and a huge amount of the reason for it existing fades away.  It's no longer your Bitcoin, it's Coinbase's Bitcoin or Blockchain's Bitcoin.
Learn more about your understanding of bitcoin wallet and correcting it about blockchain wallet, I just give recommendation not to debate this, all back to user respectively not to correction each other, cheers

I don't need to correct my view as it is objectively correct.

In Coinbase, you have no control over your private keys.  Therefore, Coinbase owns your coins.  There is no way to argue with that using Google's translated one-liners.

In some web wallets you can view your private keys, but they also can and they still basically send your transactions for you.  Even if they claim it's encrypted before it reaches their servers, you have to trust that they're telling the truth.  Blockchain has a chrome extension, but if you use that it's no longer a web wallet and that's what we're talking about here.

There's no situation in which web wallets are actually secure.  Exchanges like Coinbase are even worse.

I just have to say too that some of the replies are not even related to the concern. Others are even repeatitive.

Anyways, kinda confused here because only you is experiencing those problems. I understand for about days but lasting for even up to 2-3 days is unusual. Have your tried it on other browser? It has something to do with the cache. I experienced that kind of problem in XAPO. Firefox tooks time to load it but on Chrome it was smooth. And sometimes vice versa.

My solution? Refreshing those browsers with problem + an optional method of resetting the router and PC to keeps things fresh.

With the wallets available today for PC, Laptop and Smartphone there is no need to use blockchain.info as a wallet. If you use it because you like mobility or you like to open it at any PC you may come across this is being solved right now. People use mobile wallets, they are easy to use and can be used anywhere you are.

This seems to be a problem on your end. Blockchain is designed for newer browsers, and for machines capable of processing it. If you have a mobile device, try to download the app and login from there. If all else fails, use your recovery information to import your wallet into another wallet, such as Electrum.

Security depends on how users keep their bitcoins not just by looking at the wallets they use

No matter how you keep your bitcoins on online wallet, it is always safer to use offline wallet such as multibit or bitcoincore. Of course security is the most important thing here, but even if you have set full security on online wallet then you cant do anything once the site is hacked.

I guess those people haven't  considered the fact that it can be hacked, the owner can run with their money and can bring some  big changes in the future like verification etc. I'm not saying  that you shouldn't use online walets just don't store a big amount of bitcoin in there .  Just admit that there are more safer kinds of wallet than online wallets .
