Another fake clone scam mirror of Bitmixer.io spotted! Again scammers are using google ADS to promote their scam. Always check URL! In this case we can see that it is: bitmixir.io not bitmixer.io everything else is pretty much the same. Don't click, don't use. Avoid this fake site and spread the news about this scam.

This is not the first time this is happening with bitmixer and I am just wondering how google ad-sense is going in favor of phishing sites by not checking before showing them.
I remember people were sharing about how to report this to google, but I could not recall the steps for reporting this phishing attempts. I request this community to report as early as possible and multiple reporting will help quicker and better (I am also working on reporting it).

I think google needs to do research before allowing everyone to advertise their own website, because that causes this phising problems. Anyways, to get rid of this junk, report it here: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=nlWhen alot of people report the same site, they will look at it and remove it as soon as they confirm it as a phising website.

Thanks for letting us know, actually we have to report this ad to google. This can easily scam people if they just search for bitcoin mixing service.
Newbie may get scammed but the one who have already used bitmixer can easily spot difference when they look at address bar. This clone don't have SSL certificate.

Haha, why bother with SSL certificate when your purpose is to scam others? SSL is a waste of money. This site has also misspelled name, but that never really stopped some unaware users from being baited by the scam. I think google needs to do research before allowing everyone to advertise their own website, because that causes this phising problems.
Google is doing nothing to block crypto related scams, they are blind or they don't care. We had before fake blockchain.info wallet too, at least 2 times!

Oh another fake bitmixer site. There are already lots of discussions here about that meaning those people involved really want to push their agenda to make an easy money. And the saga continues as of now.
It's kinda obvious even for a newbie that if they will seach bitmixer in google, they will confused because of two or three identical search results and will not just visit the first one that provided by result. So I think, about only 2% will fall to this shit attempt. We just have to continously report those sites (as I see, other fake bitmixer sites are being removed) at Google.
Bump for this.

Well definitely, whenever we see something like this then the first thing to do is to report that to Google. Then spreading the news about the scam site and make everyone report about it. That is the fastest way to stop these kind of scams. And those 2% should think before putting their money into some random sites. Even a simple spell check can save you.

All of you guys who blame Google for "being lazy" don't actually know what you're saying. How would Google check it? Take a few bitcoins and mix their coins themselves? If they attempted to try every single service that wanted to advertise on AdSense then they'd be broke.
Also, Google doesn't know every reputable business in every niche. It's foolish to believe that Google should do extensive (and I mean, hours upon hours) research on every AdSense ad. Even if they did, that's not proving that BitMixir.io is a scam site. They could just as easily claim that they thought of BitMixer.io (it's not a very creative name in the first place), realized it was already taken, and swapped out an "i" for an "e".

Lazy people doesn't even bothering to check on what site they are opening thats why we can see some fool people victimized by this whatsocalled copying scheme. And good thing this thread has been made so that people would be more aware of this kind of attempt and people should really need to look deeper on what site they are unto so that scammers will tired to make new copy cat site since people are aware and they don't have victim anymore.

I think those people who are advertising in adwords are abuser because they are advertising for free in adwords like in bing method that they can advertise multiple times without paying.. I am sure this is their new way source of scamming someone.. better to aware of this since many people are searching on some mixer for their bitcoin. Upon checking the website almost everything inside are same as bitmixer. And checking their whois this is the result Domain : bitmixir.io Status : Live Expiry : 2018-05-02
NS 1 : ns1.spaceweb.ru NS 2 : ns2.spaceweb.ru
Owner Name : Evgenii Kotkin Owner OrgName : Private Person Owner Addr : Oktyabrskaya 99 Owner Addr : Oktyabrskaya Owner Addr : Respublika Mordoviya Owner Addr : RU
Check for 'bitmixir.sh' --- http://www.nic.sh/go/whois/bitmixir.sh Check for 'bitmixir.ac' --- http://www.nic.ac/go/whois/bitmixir.ac
Information Updated: 2017-05-07 23:21:37 And looks like this is launch past few days.,.

Since google allowed it, the best thing users could do is to just be extra careful and watchful in the URL (as always). Sometimes due to the identical looks, people mistakenly use the fake sites resulted to scams or hacks. Good thing that I'm not clicking any site from google ads.
Good catch. Thanks for sharing this.

That's right, it just doesn't make sense how a big company like google could that easily approve such ads which are basically phishing website. It's like google getting involved on scamming and criminal activity. And how would you suggest Google from "knowing" what websites were phishing and which were not? They're a lot of things but certainly not omniscient.

Others are right that this is not the first time to happen with some phishing website for bitmixer, and I don't know if google cares about this issue I guess as long the owner of this site pays google for the ads then those will not be remove on that ad place that's why there so many people got scammed from this sites.

It is good you told us. I usually click the links without doing a lot of verifying, especially when I see ads on google. I think they are clean but obviously they are not and I use bitmixer as my primary source for mixing the coins when I need to. Will always double check the url and always will type the https when accessing it. Scam artists are becoming more and more common these days.

As I see the subject fake bitmixer.io site, I don't believe that this faking will succed this kind of site duplication, and think this is a plan for the rival sites to take down the legitimate bitmixer.io website that runs smoothly for several years. If this will continued to happen like this, the sites reputatio would be affected and the fake one will dominate, and might scam those legitimate people who invested bigger amounts of btc which brings bigger disappointments to all of us. But in anyways this was now reported to the bitmixer legit site admins, well they were working already on it to solve this issue and fixing it immediately.

That's also happened on other top sites as well like Blockchain.info a while ago. The best thing to go to your preferred site is type it manually and don't rely with the prediction because you may redirected to phising site like above.
