This is one of the reason why i love bitcoin because the price is continue rising up and even we just bought or keep a few bitcoins in the past few years then if we look at it again we can see a huge increase on the value of our holdings and that is one of the best for long term holders or investors like me.

Yes indeed.

It basically offers you a way to store your wealth over the long run even if you didn't have access to bank accounts like a lot of people in 3rd world countries. Also it is an investment vehicle that can take you a long way.

I'm just really really pissed at myself for not buying any bitcoin when the price was just 200 USD on a daily basis and basically was stable at that level. Wish I could go back in time and buy a ton of bitcoins at cheap prices.

My math may be incorrect, but it is close enough to make a good comparison. It would never trump $48.14 interest over 3 years vs $7.48. I can

10% is a big profit annually and only found in countries which have a very high inflation rate (as far as I know). your calculations are not wrong but they are just not accurate.

for example the banks where I live calculate the profit daily, they pay the profit monthly though. and for that your calculation would be a little bit off. the total after 3 yeas would be $10.10 exactly if you use the daily method. the formula for it can be found in Microsoft Excel if you are interested.

As I said, the math might not be 100% correct and the interest might be a bit high... but it still shows what huge profits you could make with

fees. The other thing is... most accounts are suspended and closed once they are not used. Banks will say that idle accounts are closed because

of KYC/AML regulations and to prevent fraud and money laundering.... but the real reason is that idle accounts do not generate income for them.

They want you to make transactions on your accounts so that they can charge you fees. Greedy Mfkers!

You do not have to pay taxes to the government, but vice versa, you have to pay a transaction fee, and I believe the amount you pay for transaction fees is equal to the amount of tax you pay the government. It's the same. The difference here, bitcoin does not need any legal papers, everything is free.

One of the reasons why i love bitcoin is because it's too easy to use and i can earn money without going out or getting a lot of work because i just need internet and computer and i can do all the bitcoin things that i need to do to earn money. That is why those just earned bitcoins on its earlier time and saved it were considered lucky because they had gain a tremendous profit and now deserved what they really had today. Thats why its always said that bitcoin should be invested in a long term basis to reap more benefits and not in a short term basis like altcoins.Just invest,remain patient irrespective of the market conditions and you are sure to get more returns.

This is happening now,those who save or invested a lot  before may aready celebrating now since bitcoin value now goes high as sky. And their bitcoin accounts now got double or tripled instantly.

Have you guys seen the price of litecoin.? It's x7 in a Span of a month. Think the same about Bitcoin from 2010-11. Other than growing of the price, I would have to love the anonymity which Bitcoin provides while transacting.

Well we are talking and basing here about the price of bitcoin.Litecoin really did gain some 7x on a month but still its way far beyond into bitcoin in terms of progress and other features which is anonymity same as you said this is what I love about bitcoin that no one could able to trace up my transactions on line.Making it as an investment is a plus because of moving prices and for OP I'm quiet amazed because he did able managed to hold up that amount for almost 3 years.

I like you too, I am a student of a university, my cost of studying is very expensive, however, thanks to bitcoin, it becomes okay nail. You do not need to spend a lot of time with extra work, just stay home and work on your computer. Everything becomes a lot easier.

Although it is convenient to use we still need physical money in small expenses. I love bitcoin its capability, convenient and the capacity to earn more just like any passive income. I can buy things online without showing my credit card as proof of payment which is too risky nowadays.
