All of this will just be speculation.
There might be someone who will get lucky to predict it but yet that is all just luck.
Looking at how Japan made progress with using the bitcoin technology it gave a larger chance for bitcoin to grew more in terms of value.
Maybe if 2 or more countries could do this that $3000 will be easy to achieve.

To me that would be grateful because in my country, 2 years from earlier the commodities are almost the same in prices. so btc going higher means im only coins more profitable than the prices today.

I guess if we can reach and stay above $2000, it is already showing the increase acceptance of bitcoin. US$3000 or GBP$3000 is good but we need to have something to offer- the scale-ability of the bitcoin blockchain.

Even merely following the trend I dont need a soothsayer to give me the news of the direction of bitcoin. In as much as we all want the increase should happen, I still expect a wise investor to exercise caution a follow caution and not just follow the entire population because whether they are adopting in Japan or not, bitcoin is still subjected to the forces of demand and supply in which the population in Japan is not as much as the entire population in the determining factor of the price of bitcoin. $3000 is a long shot but still possible.

this is mostly news about a bit adoption which is leading to price rise. not the adoption itself. speculation is mostly what is driving the price up if it is because of Japan. so i don't think $3000 is possible this soon.
however in long term, we will start seeing the real effect of this real adoption in Japan and consequently in other countries. and that will be the start of some real solid rise towards $5000.

Well, that would certainly be a big good news for current Bitcoin holders and bad news for people who are still to enter the Bitcoin market as it would cost them an arm to own even a fraction of the currency. However, I am looking more at $2000 level even before the year ends or early 2018 as there would be some technical corrections along the way. But if Russia or Euro would follow what Japan is now doing with Bitcoin then the value would really surpass the roof.

I don't think that's possible to hit that amount in just short period of time. That's possible but not as fast as you predicted. Theres also a possibility bitcoin could crash. $2000 is enough for me. I don't expect we hit that amount very soon. If ever we hit that amount. I will be very grateful.

Yeah it will be at the price if they didn't think to dump bitcoin on december also the ceo of blockchain also had thought that bitcoin will be half of million dollar i don't know the exact year he already posted i read it and analyze thing and hell yeaaah let's wait for this to happen.

I don't think so we will be seeing 3K by the end of this year, More like $2K stable is what is more likely to happen. Unless there is some sort of hype bubble we won't be seeing 3K, well that's my opinion.

I have started of thinking it as a bubble, like that of 2013 bubble and it's gonna be bigger than the previous one and I can't even think if it crashes, what will occur to the investors who are buying in right now.

There isn't a transaction delay problem if you pay the proper fee, but fees are getting higher because the demand is too high and blocks are too small to fit everybody in. Everybody knows there is a problem with the current situation but the best solution available is activating Segwit, not HF.

Bitmain just should support Segwit just like they did it with LTC. HF will bring more trouble than solutions.

Aside from the high fees, everything is fine with bitcoin. We passed 1500, reached 1600$ already. One step more and its 2k$. It can happen anytime now, but there won't be anything like 2013 again unless bitcoin gets banned in USA or some similar major shit happens.

In 2013, Most of the trading volume was coming from Gox only. We lost %80 because we lost the major trading exchange along with the bitcoins in it. People gotten smarter after gox (hopefully) I don't know if anyone is still dumb enough to make trades on exchanges with all of his/her wealth now.

Sub 1300$ again? We'll see it again in the future, most likely.

Sub 1000$ again? There is a chance. If a big exchange goes gox > 900$.

Sub 500$ again? Almost impossible.

Predicting future price of bitcoin was always speculation and nothing more, even facts or news won't guarantee you that we reach certain price level.

There might be someone who will get lucky to predict it but yet that is all just luck.

I like the term "educated guessing" a bit more.

the bitcoin as a Japanese legal currency will as well pushed some of the notable altcoins such as litecoin, stellar lumens to up, because the high volume of transaction to be a legal currency. if the people are unable to use bitcoin due to its fee, then they choose something else instead. altcoins are traded mainly with bitcoins, thus supports bitcoin's price.

The current elected president of France was also a bitcoin enthusiast based on this we expect the price to also take another high leap when his swear in as president and by then price may jump to around $2,000. If only Japanese government legalized bitcoin as a means of payment is behind the current positive price outlook for crypto currencies in general then before the end of the year we expect price to hicks to $3,000.

Even I speculated $2000 some days ago. But when it already reached $1630, I would say there are higher chances of it reaching $3000. The people of Japan readily accept technology. Therefore, the demand of bitcoin in Japan will increase more. They will take the price of bitcoin to $3000. Bitcoin to go!

I do hope so, this will make me happy when it does. Though my holdings are not so big, so the effect will not be maximized if it does happen. I still would like to see that price range and be able to convert my btc to fiat and be a lot richer than now.

$3000 next year maybe, this year's target is $2000. i'm really happy that the price is increasing and bitcoin adoption is also increasing. hodl till $5000+!(i'm not selling below this price)
