These seem to be doing the rounds currently. Zekoroger had control of his account taken away temporarily last week when receiving the exact same email from another newbie user.

Legit Bitcointalk links show green when you hover over them.

This is quite easy to spot if you're awake and paying attention, but it still seems to have gotten people.

Be wary - pay attention to PM's from brand new users with "non suspicious" looking links in them. Should you click the link, expect control of your account to be taken from you, plus any other nasties that could be downloading in the background.

Use the 'Report to Admin' function. There are too many of these to report individually in the sub and/or tagging them (not that we haven't tagged a few of them already).

Weirdly enough, this still doesn't seem to be standard knowledge around here. What if you're color blind? BTCT probably has very bad WAI.
