Hi guys,

I currently mine with 8 GPu rigs + an L3+ and I was thinking of getting a 1 or 2 S9's to diversify my mining.

Are the plans for bigger Bitcoin miners soon? I don't see much info on new miner models.

The current S9' say they pull 13.5 Th/s

What are your thoughts? Now that the price is up the S9's seem cheaper Smiley

In terms of being the most efficient miner, S9 is at the top but in terms of reliability, I can't say the same (same goes to all the other Bitmain products) and to add to that, there's a lot of bad reviews regarding the repair situation by them. A7 could be another option, although less efficient.

If I were you, I would have spent my money on getting 3 to 4 more high-end GPU's (to intensify the GPU farm that you already have) and just mine altcoins (but that's just me).

Even i would suggest you to invest in alt coin mining like SFR10 as you can always convert the coins back to bitcoin and with the price of alt coins have moved to an all time high so the ROI can be achieved pretty fast even if you invest the same amount of money to acquire a gpu mine than spending money for a S9. It is just my suggestion, the choice is yours. Smiley

Yes the only reason I don't want to reinvest in GPU miningis due to the POS from Ethereum and the AMD vega coming out this Q2.

This is kinda the reason why I wanted to reinvest in mining but in BTC to diversify the mining income.

I personally love the idea of getting monthly passive income Smiley

thank you guys for the info!
