Bitcoin hits $1,600 and one investor says it could rally to $4,000 in few months

Bitcoin is "fully valued" and could see a pullback in the short term after hitting $1,600 for the first time on Monday, according to one investor, but the price could go as high as $4,000 over the next 14 months.

The cryptocurrency has been on an upward move since April and was trading around $1,575.52 by early afternoon trading in London after hitting an all-time high $1,601.05 during morning trade, according to the Coindesk bitcoin price index.

In the last 30 days, bitcoin has risen over 33 percent

Yeah it already hits 1,600 but I think it is pretty much hard for it to be in 4,000.

I completely agree with you, current bull trend might not be able to push price to $2000 so i am also expecting quite reasonable correction on bitcoin price. I am waiting to buy more at $1200-$1300 price range.

$10,000 or more. Remember there is another halving in the next 3 years making bitcoin that scarce but bitcoin will be more demanding with little supply. Really the price of bitcoin will exponentially grow in the next years or so, so its critical for many of us to really saved bitcoin for long term because the price will go to the moon.

It must be a hodl party happening right now and we should hodl to since the performance rating of bitcoin is pretty cool and theirs no doubt bitcoins price will huge for more. Hope their no bad event will be happen and lets pray that their will no bad interuption will hit and cut our glory.

People said 2k$ is impossible at least in a year but we are almost there now. More importantly, we have seen how bitcoin can grow so fast in a few days. Bitcoin was 1300$ on May 1 and now it is over 1700$. It is more than %30 growth only in 10 days. (9 actually) 10! And that grow happened while it was already around its ATHs! That means all those people even the ones with small shares didn't choose to dump but hold.

Mind you, bitcoin isn't a pump&dump shitcoin with zero volume&low market cap. It is the ultimate and the safest cryptocoin.

Altcoins can grow %1000 in a week because they start with zero value. Bitcoin is already distributed widely through the globe so pumping it is much more difficult than doing it with alts.

Now we are about to hit 2k$... 4k$ don't sound impossible.

People's brains can only handle so much and there's always been so much money going into Bitcoin that all we needed was a catalyst and rises like this will happen. Imagine what'd happen with a proper scaling solution like Segwit or Lightning Network, unfortunately we can't come to consensus but it'd be absolutely great for price.

Serioussly??? well i'm not ready for this , i'm in a situation like have no much bitcoin right now, but i'm trying to buy as much as i can. Today I woke up to a sweet surprise that bitcoin price touched 1,630 USD each. My prediction is the price would be touch 2000 dollars maybe in next month or so but i'm not sure  that it could rally to 4k dollars i think too fast for bitcoin to touch that price hmmm we can't predict the future it might happen though. All i can say congratulation for those who hold and have a lot of bitcoins right now.

Investors who bought at the current price rate must hope for the best that's why they have to become optimistic disregarding all the negative risks. So it's an obvious thing to say that price will increase more above the unexpected price.

So even without technical analysis and disregarding the past performance, investors who bought at the current price rate must make a speculation of a big price increase so somehow they can attract new and current investors to buy more coins.

Even if I have to buy lots of bitcoins today, I will remove all negative news in my mind even they are close to reality because I want to earned more than I invested.

Let's first see the price go through the $2000 mark before speculating about even higher prices. It would be a completely unhealthy situation if the price keeps going up without any corrections.

I always prefer a more sustainable sort of growth over quick peaks. But of course, people here don't care as long as they see the price go up. It's always benefit now,

i never like speculations like this that defy everything i see on charts. they seem mostly hype-y to me.
i mean yeah we are getting a lot of good news from every place these days and things are looking great with bitcoin but $4000 in a few months is a big target and that is not going to happen easily. that is a 150% rise and when you look at the percentages they give you a better view of how things are.
and i say if that happens then we will officially be in a big bubble like 2013 and that will pop ruining all the past 2+ years of solid slow rise.

i say $2000 +- $100 by the end of this year is a more logical number.

For sure it was a spectacular climb, something difficult to see every year. But something very good, I particularly did not believe that the price went up so much... here we are in the 1700

Now,  $4000 is a lot, I think it's only 2 or 3 years from now.
