Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

This was bound to happen. Zebpay probably has nothing to hide, which is good for us as this will be a step towards regulating Bitcoins.

Why would you drag Benson in this issue,he might be busy in real life as he is occupied with his business and life, but i am not a fan with the way the Indian government is moving ,citing Zebpay as illegal bitcoin exchange and how come they could consider that without any investigation,so it looks like they have a prejudgemental approach in this case which is not good.

What are you talking about?

The letter states that they are going to conduct an inquiry to examine the company's service. It's just saying that they are going to investigate Zebpay to see if there's any illegal activity or not.

There is investigation in all companies if there is any illegal activities,if there is investigation in zebpay it is good for them as it will be the best for the company and no one will question against them in the near future, and many costumers will get attracted to me if all goes right.

As far as I know Zebpay is clean in records and it is a good sign for the Bitcoiners in India but who will show that Zebpay had come clean..?
Media just shows the allegations, in most of the time it doesn't even care who got free properly.

I hope things go in the right way because if any found fraudulent then we all know how government would be reacting to this situation and unnecessary everybody else would have to suffer for it.

But since its Zebpay its trustworthy and should come clean on this.

Yeah! This letter is quite old and basis for many rumors on net about Bitcoin ban or legalization in India. However, I don't feel Zebpay will be in any danger if under investigation because all purchases on Zebpay are channelize through banks giving no possibilities to money laundering and receipts also subjects to PAN card verification.

suspect this letter was a follow up to the case of a few kids in Mumbai ordering large quantities of LSD from the dark net using bitcoin. it was all over the media a couple of months ago.

Zebpay and all other companies will come out clean who first need kyc verification before you start using their services

And they also taking some percent of taxes when ever you buy or sell your Bitcoin

Exactly Zebpay has nothing to hide. They are running quite fair business. I am sure the ministry will find nothing against them.

Yeah, even I have heard that he said bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme. I really wonder how can government hire such people to investigate about bitcoin when they know nothing about it. Such positions should be offered to some technically sound person.
