Did you try the suggested solutions?
- Install breadwallet on iOS or Android device (if breadwallet doesn't work on your Android, try "Simple Bitcoin Wallet").
- Restore your MultiBit HD seed and wait for it to sync up... you'll have access to your coins and can move them to another wallet (like Electrum)
If you cannot use Breadwallet or Simple Bitcoin Wallet... then your options are:
1. wait for devs to fix the bug
or
2. use
my python scripts to extract your keys with UTXOs and sweep (or import) those private keys to another wallet (like Electrum)... as mentioned by NeuroticFish, using a VirtualMachine with no network access is a good idea for added security while doing this.
In other news, I've tested my scripts with Linux and MacOSX now
or
3. Do it the long way and create an offline version of
https://iancoleman.github.io/bip39/ Then put your MultiBit HD seed in where it says Mnemonic Code... Under Derivation Path, select BIP32 and then client = "Custom" and set the path to m/0'/0 and copy all the addresses and keys (you may need to click show more to find all your addresses with coins)... then also set the path to m/0'/1 and find all your change addresses and keys that have coins. Import those keys to another wallet.
