Bitcoin app won't open

Hello,

I am new, but really trying to get this done right. Well I downloaded Bitcoin 0.3.23, got my bitcoin addy, everything was fine. So I sent some BTC (as a test run) to that address from another.

Well now when I try and open the bitcoin app it won't even open, it just does that spinning thinking icon like its about to open...then nothing happens.

Ideas?

I am having the same problem... when i open the application it shows that it is loading.. then it stops and nothing has opened.
Any ideas?

What OS are you guys running?

If this is on Windows, check your system tray. The Bitcoin program will usually start minimized in the tray.
