Well,does he really need a team ? What for ? He already bought the script and for a few more cents any developer will have his website up and running.I don't see no point in developer doing anything here since there is nothing to do.
It's like you bought all the cooking ingredients but don't know how to cook.You should have learnt cooking first boy.

Maybe provide some screenshots of the site and are you looking for users world wide or country restricted? do you want help with advertisement or development? good luck with your project however there are many established social networking sites out there already will be a challenge to get active users.
