Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Miners, let me know if you are facing any issues connecting to pool or submitting shares. As BitCore is using a new algo "timetravel10", be sure to use the modified ccminer/sgminer/cpuminer mentioned in the pool help page: http://neonpool.sytes.net/getting_started

Bitcore neonpool added worker support now. Miners can use multiple workers for the same address based on their miner rigs. No registration needed! Also updated the miner links in the help page to the stable Bitcore miner versions.

For more details on connecting to the pool, see the link: http://neonpool.sytes.net/getting_started

Hi,
I have got a wallet address using official software: https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases/tag/0.14.0.0
But how to configure a worker and where to set a password? Thanks Smiley

ccminer -a timetravel10 -o stratum+tcp://neonpool.sytes.net:4008 -u <Done>.<your-worker-name> -p x

EDIT: Got response on Slack team... and the response is: No registration required.

You can start mining as mentioned below. No need to register separately on the pool. Once the mining software connects and starts submitting shares to the pool, your wallet address appears below "Miners" tab and clicking on your wallet address takes you to your personal mining stats page, where you can see details of all your workers that are connected with the same wallet address.

ccminer -a timetravel10 -o stratum+tcp://neonpool.sytes.net:4008 -u <your-bitcore-wallet-address>.<your-worker-name> -p x

your-bitcore-wallet-address: your personal BitCore address that you generated using BitCore wallet.
your-worker-name: a unique name for you to identify your machine.

Is your pool down for the past 24(?) hours or did you just cut and run...?

Cut and run is my best guess! It's a shame, I was looking for good and reliable pools. Won't be this one then!

There was no pending blocks to pay in the pool to cut and run Smiley Cloud VPS company had a catastrophic failure and brought down most of the servers without any warning to users. People are still trying to figure how to bring back the servers.
