This is winning. Bigly.

So, if you have turned on a TV in the last few hours, you know that our dear President just fired the director of the FBI, a one James Comey.

Apparently at the behest of Sessions, who is displeased at the way the whole Hillary thing was handled (they really wanted her to get locked up, her apparently being the Antichrist and all).

“Based on my evaluation, and for the reasons expressed by the Deputy Attorney general in the attached memorandum, I have concluded that a fresh start is needed at the leadership of the FBI,” Sessions wrote in his letter to the president.

Both sides of he aisle have gone apeshit, accordingly. Of course thus is largely being decried by the DNC, but even the GOP didn't like the optics in this one. We even have one if the Republicans sitting on the investigative committee saying he was 'troubled by the timing and reasoning' behind the firing.

First Yates, now Comey. The explanation for Trump's firing of Comey is pretty weak.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/comey-misstated-key-clinton-email-evidence-at-hearing-say-people-close-to-investigation/2017/05/09/074c1c7e-34bd-11e7-b373-418f6849a004_story.html

Officials said Comey was fired because senior Justice Department officials concluded that he had violated Justice Department principles and procedures last year by publicly discussing the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

Funny, Comey was the shiznit about the very same thing earlier:

http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/332641-flashback-trump-praised-comey-in-october

In the Oct. 31 remarks, Trump, who had previously criticized Comey for not bringing charges against Clinton, said he had to give the FBI credit.

''That was so bad what happened originally, and it took guts for Director Comey to make the move that he made in light of the kind of oppob]sition he had where they’re trying to protect her from criminal prosecution," Trump said at a Michigan campaign rally.

I would say some sarcastic, snarky shit, but this is grave.

What did you really expect? he's the president and he can do whatever he wants because the law says so.

Well, let's consider that. Let assume both events are true, that the sitting president colluded with an enemy state to subvert the presidency, and that the Clintons ritualistically fuck young boys and girls, sometimes in the basements of pizza palours. Which is a greater threat to national security? I hate to be callous, but as we speak, sexual violence against children is happening. Within 100 miles of you, no doubt. But how often does an enemy nation, subvert the election process of the most powerful democracy in the world?*

You would think, with some of the anti Hillary folks in the FBI (this is known but do research), that if there was any substance to these allegations, they would have seen the light, seeing as how Bill was president in 1993. It would benefit the conservative elite to take them down, so much time but no results. But, maybe it will take longer. It did take the GOP 8 years to not come up with a viable solution for Ocare.

Trumps been president for 110 days, and it's all popcorn and intrigue.

Three months of his reign, Trump got so many enemies as Obama has gotten for two of his term. Now Trump saved from impeachment only what the Republicans have no decent candidate to win early elections. Trump tries to use it, but I think such tactics will not help him to avoid impeachment.

I'm not an American, but by the way I followed the news and my personal opinion on why he was fired was:

1. Comey was too soft on Clinton - Comey is fired because of his handling of the email investigation on the Clinton. And he had exonerated Clinton from criminal wrongdoing.
2. Trump colluding with Russia to win the election- Comey even admitted in front of the Senate that the FBI was investigating Trump's campaign and his Russian connection.
3. Comey didn't support Trump's claim that Obama tapped his phone in Trump Tower.

So basically, he dig up his own hole leading to his firing and dismissal as FBI director.

That's all true.

But in the United States people are taught to try to respect fairness over power.

Nobody really doubts that Trump used power to derail an investigation and repopulate the FBI with people who would support him. Nobody doubts that. The question is whether or not it is acceptable to do that.

Number 1 was probably the main reason. Trump want his revenge on Hillary Clinton. #2 is important, but Comey's opinion didn't caused much damage for Trump. Most of the damage was caused by those who belong to his own party.

I have the impression that Trump accepted the challenge and prepared to fight. He deliberately goes to the aggravation of the situation to show that he is the master of the situation. This is a very exciting fight. I wonder whether it will end with impeachment?

It seems to me that Trump became very afraid and acted in panic.
As you know, Comey was leading investigation about Russian influence on US presidential elections and their close ties with Trump's team.
Do you remember last US American president who did the same thing?
It was President Nixon.
He tried to stop investigation about himself but because of great public pressure, he couldn't stop it and eventually he resigned.
In my opinion, the same thing will happen to Trump.
He can't be above the law.

Trump believes that he is the law. In America as in Europe a lot of bureaucracy. The procedure of investigation and impeachment if we can prove his guilt may take a very long time. If he was indeed cooperating with the Russians then it can cause irreparable damage to American security.

My sources claim that Comey has a sexual fetish for Howdy Doody and that is being used to control him.  Not unlike how the mob fairly well owend Hoover the degenerate to the degree that he denied that organized crime existed.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWdTXTyyD04&t=491s

I have no idea if there is any truth to E. T. Williams assertions here about Comey, but one way or another his presentation is about 10 times better comedy than, say, Trevor Noah.  To me.  And if there IS any truth to it, it's actually fairly alarming.

Welp, guess there's more bitter struggles for the country that gave the world modern democracy. Isn't this also the guy that testified that they saw signs of Russian manipulation in the election? At least that's what I remember from the few news clips I saw.

Even Americans is finding it hard to sift through all the bullshit each camp has thrown at each other but it seems one thing is for sure. The replacement would be less sympathetic to Hillary and would be less enthusiastic at investigating the Russian connection.

Perhaps now it is time to put the entire Clinton crime family behind bars. An investigation must be conducted not just into the use of the private server, but also in to the alleged links Hillary is having with pedophile rings.

Well, let's consider that. I agree, she has many skeletons in her closet and it's time to get those skeletons out of the closet.

Quote
Donald Trump has said he was thinking of “this Russia thing” when he decided James Comey’s fate – contradicting the White House rationale that he fired the FBI director for mishandling the Clinton email investigation.

And we'll go with another novel

Trump fired Commey in a manner so bizarre that one may think He was still on the Apprentice Show. In my regards Commey should have been fired when Trump took office and his position given to someone else.

I did like the way the late night shows put it, Comey realized he was fired by looking at a TV screen, then the media did a media scrum on his motorcade just like with OJ Simpson while doing live commentary about how slow the highway was and even kept live feed on it until he left on the FBI airplane.
