At the present time now, I am not using Poloniex right now, though i'm a poloniex traders before but I'd rather choose to transfer to other exchange site platform, and for what I heard now to poloniex their clients/traders are now complaining about their services and I don't know exactly what and why?

I see.. To be honest, I also did not able to deposit coins and start trading and even take advantage of the cheap coins out there because I encountered lot of lags in the site and I am afraid that my deposit will not get through. But I friend were able to manage to buy deposit, trade, and withdraw yesterday. It just that I am freeze and don't know what to do. I know there are traders out there that earned a lot with what happened in polo.

i will still use polo but I will give it a week to stabilize before I start trading again there..

at the moment i beleive their problems are solved, but i don't get why everyone is insisting on continuing to use poloniex!
why don't you choose another exchange, like bittrex for example to trade altcoins. they are practically the same and are even older. i am not advertising anything here just say bittrex because i use it myself and have been much happier compared to using polo.

I have not used bittrex but does it have the same amount of volume compared to poloniex? I am really after the volume because that way, there is some kind of volatility that we can play around and earn somehow.

I think I had some sell orders go through in the last 24 hours on poloniex with no problem. They were bitcoin sells, no altcoin sells lately.

It doesn't have the same volume, but the volume is high enough for your trades not to make a huge difference to the price.  Bittrex is pretty punctual and consistent with coins, volume and withdrawals.

For example, currently Bittrex's 24 hour Litecoin/Bitcoin volume has been about 5 million.  You can see trading volumes for different exchanges here.

Well, luckily I still had some funds on poloniex ( not much, just some decent leftovers as I would call it ) so my decision was to buy some altcoins that might become profitable for me, that was a quite good discount at least for me, latest days have shown us that we basically have a lot of opportunities to use right now.

But to be honest, Im really happy that I have withdrawn most of my funds on poloniex before the whole "DDoS" drama, because thanks to it, I pretty much didn't lose any money. All I had there left, was just in BTC so I havent suffered from the lack of move ability, like some people that couldnt withdraw or move their funds.
For now, Im calmly waiting for them to fix all of it, I will just probably stay focused on what is going on exactly, then I will consider putting more funds for trading purpose.

Yes, I have. Looks poloniex problem already resolved. All of the trades are running smoothly and everyone could be able to using the poloniex features right now.

I just still hold my altocin and never try to sell them on the loss. Just try to monitoring the latest condition of polo.

And try to put sell order and sell them all.

I just deposited around 0.1 bitcoin in Poloniex to buy some altcoins like BURST and NEM. I'm just collecting altcoins as of now and buying and keeping them for long term, In the next week i will put another 0.1 to buy another one. I'm not actively trading in Poloniex because i prefer long term rather than short term because i can earn a lot without doing anything.

Correct. Especially when you only select altcoins that are promising and backed up by great technology - it will have its low and high price which gives every trader an opportunity to profit with the said price fluctuations.

take a look at the time of the posts before quoting and answering them, by that time Poloniex had a lot of problems because of all the altcoin pumps and all the traffic it was getting. now they claimed they have added additional servers and the pumps have slowed down, that is why you have no more problems.

I think one of the major reasons people would still use Polo is the amounts of Bitcoin available for borrowing (for margin trading). In the past 24 hours, I've just seen more than 8,000 BTC available to borrow, which is still a great deal more than their competitors.

Just recently, Poloniex face some controvercies and before that happen I was transferred to bittrex exchange from Poloniex. I know many of the poloniex user was also transfered into other exchange too.

I believe poloniex is getting ok now and back as stable as before.. I am trading on other platform and will about to go back to poloniex now. Hopefully I can get some 10 trades for today - I hope I have at leas 6 wins or more over 10 trades that I will be going to execute now.

Many people may not verify their account so there may be an unknown limit, while verifying the account is useful for the security of their own account.
I do not have any problems because I only trade there in the last 24 hours

We peeked in just to see if there was anything difference and all of our accounts are unchanged.  We only use them for a small, specific set of coins that only they have on their and we have had no reason to be there lately.  No verification email, no 2FA(we never touch it), just a 15 minute process, before it showed on the other wallet, and then around 8 minutes to go to the required 3 confirmations.

Yes same here, I also don't see any changes on my account during those times. It was really just a glitch on the system or even on their server - but we really don't know what transpire during those hours in poloniex.

Sobfar so good for me though. I just bought a couple of dcrs a little while ago and cashed out sc's as well. I've read a lot of people are having problems wih polo transactions but fortunately i haven't yet experienced any.
