Pretty bad you trusted them since for your information cloudmining is not profitable right now and actually you can seek some info via using google so why the heck you put some money on their without seeking some info on what you are on. So better you should try to move on since i can say that your expectation well surely not meet in that cloudmining sites. Yeah bitcoin price is wonderful and sometimes surprising but to be a victim of a scam mining business was a big disappointments. Ponzi scheme cloud mining business has no real business firm that was involved with hardware mining, they were just doing some programs that's presenting legit ways of how they do the business, but later on boom it's a scam and declaring closure of operation after they hit the target market. Well, we can't blame other people to trust them, but as an early warning it's a must and you always be defensive enough because investment is not a joke and it involves money.

In contrast to most other people who replied here: Hashflare.io is a real cloudmining company in Estonia. You can even visit them to see for yourself, so this is NOT a ponzi.

But, as you already have seen and heard, it will be difficult to reach ROI with them (or any other legit cloudmining company) because difficulty will rise, and will rise faster then bitcoin price. If you're patient, you have a chance reaching ROI, but it will take quite a long time - and when bitcoin price drops, the contract will be ended sooner (it is lifetime, but only when profitable).

I regularly buy small contracts from disappointed buyers, there are more people doing this, that may be a solution for you. Only the selling price will be much lower then you bought, so if it is a new contract, it probably isn't worth it for you.

BTW I've read several times about people reaching ROI with Hashflare so the phrase "you never reach ROI" isn't always applicable for Hashflare owners.

Cloud mining is unprofitable anyway, with difficulty increasing or not. There are many advices here to don't invest in such sites as you won't hit ROI, never. You aren't able to recover the same amount of coins you invested. The only way to recover your money is if you sell your mining power fast and for a good price, and I think it's better to do it fast, as if you wait too much your mining power will lose price...

Don't talk about bitcoin cloud mining, only altcoins cloud mining is somehow profitable given their recent rise and considerably low mining difficulty comparing to bitcoin.
I'm mining DASH and yet after 2 months just because of the price increase I am half ROIed, and I'm sure if they could pay me every week instead of every day I could then save a lot of fees paid daily, I assume if I had a $5000 contract with GM then fees wouldn't been an issue.

Moreover, I did try with a somewhat large contract with another account but guess what happened? after a few months past without reaching ROI the payouts started to shrink to a point of receiving dust, so that's why everyone say cloud mining is not profitable because they will always put their own interest first.

From the first instance, I never believe that cloud mining could be profitable but good for you, you joined one of the few ones that are still legit even though it might actually take forever for you to get your return on investment. At the same time, there is nothing you can do about the difficulty all you have to do is wait and continue hoping that the site is still available at the time when you eventually qualified to get your returns.

I know that you're a newbie in this thread or maybe a newbie also regarding BTC but you should do some research first before investing your hard-earned BTC to a website like that. Just so you know, cloud mining in any form/website is not profitable at all. This is just a ponzi scheme that will not pay you after a couple of days, weeks or months. Set your expectations now that you will not get any BTC back and don't do business again in any cloud mining services.

Yes time to get back what you have invested in cloud mining will change according to mining difficulty if you have bought contracts from legit cloud mining services who are mining in behalf of you with real hardware. So mining is not profitable these days, if you have cheap electricity than its better to purchase mining hardware and set your own mining rig rather than trusting any cloud mining services.

Ok let's say the cloudmining was genuine and 100% real, to answer your question yes it will affect your estimated return of investment while mining difficulty increases. That's why there's no fixed term whether when you will get a good profit out from your investment like the usual ponzi stating at their plan set and tiers.

Frankly speaking, you won't get that much for 8 months and ROI will extend more. Now if ever your investments got double within 2 to 3 years, do you think the profit you made is worth to wait?

And those cloudmining site who offering such to good to be true profits surely they are 100% scam. And in hashflare do you think it will be worth for you if you'd wait for 8 months to get your capital back or profits? well i think no for me and theirs another profitable programs out there where we can earn more money unlike investing at your inquiry.

Hashflare is a real cloud mining site. They are really mining. You can visit them to see for yourself. People who started with them 2 years ago still receive income.

It takes a (very!) long time to reach ROI, but it is possible. I shall not recommend people to invest in cloudmining, because you can easily make better profit, but Hashflare is legit and not HYIP/Ponzi.

Ofcourse they can run with your money. So can bittrex / kraken / Poloniex  or whatever exchange you use.

Hashflare is a real cloud mining site. They are really mining. You can visit them to see for yourself. People who started with them 2 years ago still receive income.

I would say around 90% of cloud mining that exist right now are scam and run on hyip model. Hashflare and genesismining are the one that is trusted by many till now and they claim to run real mining rigs. But we can never know how much power they have in reality and how much virtual mining power they are selling.

If they keep on selling virtual mining power that never exist than they might also not have any other choice than shuting down their service or running away scamming millions.

Cloud mining cannot be profitable nowadays with the actual bitcoin difficulty or the bitcoin price. What they want is to steal as many coins as possible during a period of time , usually 6 months to 1 year until people spread the word and other people join. Once they have reached their intended amount to steal they will close down business and you will not hear anymore from them. Some may come online after a few months under a new name. Know that mining with actual S9 Antminer is really difficult so keep in mind every cloud mining website is a scam.
