Hello guys,

really worried as I tried to send all my bitcoins from bitcoin qt (before it synced) to my bitstamp account. Afterwards I found out that my Bitcoin core is super old so I did a wallet back up and updated to the latest version (as it took me 4 days for the network to sync with 4%). Once I installed the new wallet thing hastened up to a point where my wallet is in sync now. The transaction shows as a minus on my Transactions window. When I check for it in the blockchain transaction tracker I can`t find it Sad. I also got in touch with the Bitstamp support guys and they also say that they haven`t received anything (quite obvious).

Where should I go about this? What could have gone wrong? Please help me out as these are all my coins I have been keeping for the past 3 years.  Huh

Guys,

I have read the whole forum and after trying accelerators, debugging and basically all the info I could lay my hands on, this morning I found the solution. I will post it just so other users in this situation can make this work.

What I read from another topic solution is to right click on the transaction that was stuck and click on Abandon Transaction. Afterwards my balance reappeared in my Bitcoin qt. Now I have initiated another transaction and while it stays as unconfirmed at least it shows in Blockchain transaction finder. Not sure if all will go well but I will definitely follow up on this one.
