None, zero, zip, zilch.

You do not "have to post" any "pointless topics" at all.

As a matter of fact, everyone would prefer that you make useful intelligent posts.  Unfortunately it is very difficult to force you to do so.  Therefore we all have to suffer through your personal choice to fill our wonderful forum with your useless spam.

You've done your 5 posts.  I think you need to wait until the 'Total time logged in' near the top of the page says '4 hours'.  Me too Sad  They don't know what wisdom they are missing out on!

I've got 9 logged and still don't know enough about BTC to make any informed decisions.

You're going to have to invest alot more time

...so maybe your posts were not so good for the Admin to allow you to "post everywhere" Wink
I am a Newbie too but I think that is good rule that new people MUST put some "empty" post to be allowed for something more. There are many, many... people in the Internet that come on Forum, put one post and then leave. They do not help except themselves. It is better than pay money for the access to the Forum...

The content on this forum is high quality for a reason... if newbies such as myself need to jump through a few hoops to join I'm all for it, as it keeps the forums free of spam & garbage posts.
