Hello everyone

My question is fairly simple. My friend wants to invest 100k in 4 coins (Ripple, Doge, Nem, Stellar)
I am looking for tips how to handle such a transaction. He is currently registered & verified at Poloniex, Kraken & Bittrex.

The idea was to deposit money in those 3, buy the coins, send them to wallets (hard, soft, paper... whichever option is better for each coin at this time)

Thnx for any info & tips

--------***--EDIT--***----------

Thank you all for the suggestions of other coins and see if his investment is solid or not but thats not realy the subject i need help with.
My Question is the Method of buying 4/5 coins in high volume (whatever coin it is) .

How should you handle this kind of process and to avoid high fees or any issues with traders if you have 100k to trade different crypto.

My idea how to handle this is:
-----------------------------------

1) Fiat deposit on Kraken (euro)  - He will be Tier4 approved in a few days
2) Trade Euro To crypto (3/4 coins)

3) If Oné of the coins is not available on Kraken:
Example Nem is not on kraken.   Buy Dogecoin on kraken - send to bittrex Dogecoin wallet - Trade Dogecoin to Nem on bittrex

3) Send to wallets ( away from trading platform )
4) Safe them on paper, ledger, key whatever specific coins is the best option to keep in a safe

I have to say you guys are a lot more friendly then Reddit lol ... a lot more frienldy replys on this forum even if you disagree

first off maybe your friend should read up on dollar cost averaging.

all of these coins have pumped massively recently. make sure your friend isn't the last person to buy at the price peak.

none of those coins are going anywhere but there's no guarantee they'll continue to rise in the near term. things can get awful quiet awful quickly sometimes.

The best thing you can do for your friend, is to tell him to figure this stuff out on his own. Especially if he is going to invest that much money. He needs to do some reading, start out small, and then work his way up to a $100k investment.

Why ethereum and bitcoin is not in his list these are the top two coins in the market, your friend do have a good choice of coin to invest but he should expand his portfolio to up and coming coin like Bitconnectcoin and footballcoin the saying buy early not early is very much true in this industry..

What is the time period of your investment? How long are you willing to wait before you'd like to cash in your profits?
Secondly, wait for a while as all of these coins have recently been pumped quite high, let the price settle around a value and then buy.
If you're open to suggestions about other coins, Decred, Amp, Lisk, Pink and Golem are some of the good options too.

Thats the main risk because we wont know if we are buying on the possible highest peak price of those coins have been mentioned knowing that they are pumping in previous days or weeks. You should really tell your friend that purchase coins on his own risk and those coins being mentioned do really have potential but still arent sure if they would continue to rise up on upcoming months or years just like European Central Bank said.

i seriously doubt that this is an honest question but i'll bite!

investing 100,000 USD in a cryptocurrency exchange bank account will raise a lot of red flags on your (friend's) bank and it may cause some troubles for him.

also all these coins you mentioned are heavily pumped, at this point the chances of these coins getting dumped is much higher than chances of any more rise.
also if you (your friend) plans on holding these for longer period of time, he will definitely lose money and losing money on such a big investment means losing a lot of money.

lets imagine Doge. it will drop down to 40 satoshi in about a couple of months and that is a 42% loss meaning you will lose $42000 in a couple of months.

Thnx for any info & tips

first thing maybe is to review again your decision, ripple is a bad investment, doge is the only good thing there, if they activate segwit or thye do the last promised upgrade, for storage better to do it locally with the core version for each coin you want to invest, it's the most secure way

I'd say for BTC and ETH, they're stable and likely to grow but u wont make too much profit. If you want more profit try Ripple and SiaCoin

Agree, only DOGEcoin i do see has potential but we cant still be sure if Segwit would be activated which means its risky if we put up money on it and Spending 100k USD is no joke amount therefore your friend must really know about the involved risk on engaging to cryptocurrencies.Prices might be on its ATH now and buying now will possibly cause you negative when alts tend to do backwards on its price.

Very good decision is that, I like doge & ripple coin so much for invest & they will rise quickly but nem & stellar will be so longer i think .

In addition, Wave is the best option to invest right now. recently it will be boost...

Since his choice is a bit strange, i would suggests him to at least add BTC on the list. And invest in 5 coins.

I have no ideas about paperwalets for those coins.

Meh, the best time to invest is buying blood. Many alt markets are experiencing new highs. Wait for the markets to simmer down.
