What? Dude I think the script writer for the movie Pi has no idea what stock market is. Theres no such thing such as password in the stock market. Its just a movie concept far behind from the actual world of trading.

I haven't watched that movie and I definitely will do, I know something though, I know for a fact that US has 30 milliseconds advantage in the internet speed, their wall street markets receives the trading signals 30 milliseconds ahead of the rest of the world enabling them to open or close their positions or short or long using their super fast bots.
I'll comment on the matter after watching that movie.

There is nothing like market key password or any types of password to control whole stock market (There can be password for individual traders). Haven't watched the movie you have mentioned above and i don't think i will watch it in future. Its just a script made by some random guy who don't have any idea about how stock market works.

I am quite surprised to see 7.5/10.0 rating they got.

Probably that is just an entertainment which might not be dealing with practical security measurements of exchanges. Moreover I am understanding this idea like they might be imagining an exchange system similar to bank lockers and all the funds are being protected with only one key which is not at all existing with respect to modern security measurements.

I am quite surprised to see 7.5/10.0 rating they got.

IMDB ratings are not for logical things, it is for how good the movie in entertainment scale. Moreover it is user driven rating might have been bumped by paid reviews too (just to have some good fame).

There might be some technical tactics in grabbing the profit. As said movies don't portray the reality in the right manner, but that might be a truth. I haven't watched the movie but this movie got nominated to several awards and won several. There sure they'll watching every single shot and the truth and the reality concern.

There is no such thing as key password in stock, forex and crypto currencies trading. But you can developed your skills and understanding to the level when its serve as trading passwords to you. I do see trading either in stock, forex and bitcoin as a footballer, for you to play professional you most be skillful and football and the same thing in trading.

It just a movie my friend but really amazing, that's my real opinion. Everything can happen in our life but we need hard work and good luck, never happen easily. Whatever it is giving us something to learn called obsession ( passion ). Do you have passion on trade ?

What technical analysis provide is forecasting in plain language based on the price movements of the past and what they do is it helps in understanding what the price would be and there is no conclusive evidence that it should be the case and if anyone could provide the exact information he should be a very rich man .

i think it can be real as long as that person still continue the project to hack stock market with many source that he have and its not a dream because many people imagine this and they are hope that they can do this things. i don't know anything about stock market key password because i don't know what language engine that they used.

There is no master password to hack any stock market,the only thing you can do in a small market is to fake the volume and convince other potential investors that  you are having a good volume and try to attract them,but i am not sure how that can be possible unless and until you are a big whale and in regulated stock exchanges it is illegal to manipulate the market but in the case of alt coin market i am sure some of the big whales are doing it and since there are no regulations they are not afraid of any legal issues.

I don't think there is something like password in trading both in commodity, stock and crypto currencies trading. But one can develop his strategy that can become onto him password. Many people think trading is mystical because of the inherent reward and risk attached to it but trading is a skillful game and bitcoin and others crypto currencies are the best assets to trade now.

I am currently a senior trader at a proprietary trading firm in New York City. I've personally be trading for 8 years. I have met a TON of traders (equties (small,med, & large CAp) (Us & abroad), options , currencies , futures ) and of course through 6 degrees of depression and stories from other traders I have "came across" an even greater number of traders . There is no Di Vinci Code to trading . One of my closest traders buddies went  3+ straight profitable years in front of me, not having a down month in between . Which sounds insane and it is . Yes, he's a highly intelligent person but the truth is trading goes against human nature . Selling when we're down and holdin while we're up. As anybody with some trading exoierence or anybody who has done a little bit of research knows too let your winners ride and cut your losers short . Even when it comes to ALGO trading , their still programmed by humans and have tendcies like anything. Not too mention the inherent variable inputs that's humans naturally have . Insider trading to an extent or being large enough to influence markets (think activist, Carl Icahn) are/is the closest you'll get too cracking the Rubix cube ..

I'm willing to further this conversation with anybody who is curious . I would ideally like to further this conversation with people who have expierence or more importantly statistical facts that's are not minupulated ! I'm always trying to learn and I'm hear to meet likeminded people who want to further / better their trading !
