Waves is definitely long term
EDG is completely dependent on if their online casino can attract people. Short term it will go up definitely so take profits out as you go along
GNT medium term hold definitely.

Short term for me < 2 weeks, medium 2-12 weeks, long end of the year

I only hodl 2 coins in your list, WAVES and EDG. I have them for my long term projections. I expect WAVES to go over 10 USD and EDG over 1 USD in 1 year. I believe both coins have great future, devs are working and they have real life usage. You better buy it when they are still cheap. You won't see these prices again after this summer.

It is like investing in a penny stocks and it is a good thing to do as well. When these coins are so cheap just buy some of them and keep it for a long term. If you keep few these very cheap coins and if one or two coins prices go high you can easily make a lot of money from these coins. But storing these coins on exchanges is not safe for a longer term.

Eh, sort of, I guess.  Penny stocks are mostly scams with no real business behind them.  These shitcoins have even less tying them to real-world things, and both of them are super, super-risky.  I suppose if you only spent a few dollars on each, it'd be like playing the lottery or something, but do some of the shittier ones even have wallets?  I agree about not keeping anything on an exchange.  That's a recipe for a "I got hacked!!" scenario.

Me, I wouldn't buy any of them except to trade in and out really quickly with.  I wouldn't hold any of them for even a month, including the ones on OP's list.

I think Maid and GNT are to be hold because they have potential to go big and get you huge profits in time.
XEM is another one with high potential. So I don't think so they are short term hold coins.

since all of these are altcoins i am going to always trade them short term, i always advise others to do the same too. it is less risky and a lot more profitable but at the same time it is time consuming to trade these each day and be aware of the price each minute.

MAID and WAVES and GNT are the 3 coins from your list that i am trading these days. and also since LTC is hot these days i obviously have invested in that too.
the rest, no so much.

MAID - I like his idea about the decentralized of the internet which will have lived for a long time I suppose.

GNT - Looks at the latest chart, and it will make sense for you to put GNT on the long term hold. Brass will come as soon as possible and my guess the price will get another jump.

Waves - This time the team and especially Sasha has turned into the right way. Waves have added to the IOS and it can be an evidence if this project will be the long term investment.

The remaining list will be included in the short or mid-term project.
