Recently this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=837998 user replied to one of my post in a very abusive manner https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1789926.msg18988567#msg18988567 those I had never interacted to him nor my post was directed to him.
I searched his post history and found out that in almost every second third post,he used same foul language to everyone whose posts he doesn't like. Here I am posting links to some of his posts which I believe is abusive.
1. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1912787.msg18985069#msg18985069
2. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1912787.msg18984732#msg18984732
3. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1912787.msg18984420#msg18984420
4. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426324.msg18982409#msg18982409
Actually the list gets too long if you dig in further.
Shouldn't he be warned strictly or more better banned?
Why should such behavior go unnoticed and tolerated?
Or is it fine to use that 4 letters word in your every post for everyone?

I don't think any of that behaviour is a bannable offence unfortunately. Best to just put him/her on ignore so you don't have to see or deal with that rubbish.

It is not just about me hence putting him on my ignore list not going to serve the purpose. It is about etiquette the way one should behave on a public forum.
I have seen many forums have script filters that doesn't allow such words and you cant post a message until such words are removed.
We can't implement it in forum current format I guess but he should be warned if not banned.
And why can't we have a rule to ban a constantly abusive member?

Bitcoin is all about freedom..so thats why we cant just ban someone if they are using abusive language.. Plus some people have a habit of using abuses in their daily life so they don't feel guilty saying them in public.. They usually consider themselves as being "cool".

Profanity isn't allowed, yes. However, when you excessively use profanity in such a berating manner it takes away from your post. Replying to a thread for discussion just to tell someone that they're a fuckhead is not exactly something that contributes to it unless there is a reason for doing so that is expressed in the post.

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]

For example, posting something like "you are dumb" will be deleted as it contains no meaningful content. However, if the post is somehwere along the lines of "You are dumb. This is wrong because this website/thread/etc. has explained it's not right", it's in most cases accepted.

Posts like this: Go fuck yourself you piece of shit scammer

seem a little bit useless.

Using such words for someone is not freedom. If someone's habit hurts others in any way,he should abstain from it.That's not a valid excuse

Did my f words bother you at all?
No because they are not directed to me or anyone else. You missed the point here.If I say you to f**** off just because i do not agree with you, would that not bother you?
You can use F word plenty of times if it is not to abuse anyone.

I disagree.  If the post simply said "Go fuck yourself", then it might be considered useless but it goes on to accuse member francoin of being a "piece of shit scammer".  This should be considered informative and perhaps worthy of looking into, no?  He's also been called a "stupid fucking shit joke", a "total idiot", a "silly little liar" and a "thief", an "asshole" and a "LIER LIER LIER LIER!!!!!!(sic)"  by various members - on their own, those names merit some attention but when you add them all together, they paint a very useful picture I would say.

That may be true but there are certainly better ways of condemning a user of being a scammer. By only purely belittling them with a "Go fuck yourself" it doesn't really help anyone. Of course, if there is a lot of backlash and hate towards a user, you would check it out.

I'm not quite sure what the user said to OP (since it was deleted) so I can't say if it was constructive or not. There is a better way to convey your point (since the user already replied with it albeit in full caps) than to write a huge red font "FUCK YOU SCAMMER!!".

He may have good intentions but if he cannot articulate well then it is wasted. Do you not agree?

It's certainly succinct.  Sometimes, articulation can mask one's true feelings.  Roll Eyes

Very unfortunately if you do things that are not good and light up use what should not be done.
