I got kicked off the slack so I'm not exactly too popular over there to discuss it haha.

But what do people think about XTraBYtes (XBY) tech? Will it work the whole Static nodes and using Chords to communicate consensus with the nodes?

I'm skeptical hence the banning but I don't want to miss out on something if it actually works. Got a bad case of FOMO basically so I want to run it past some smart guys who actually know something.

Thoughts?

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Nah, it's nothing groundbreaking. Just like every other "state of the art" shitcoin, it's a bunch of techno buzz words to attractive the lil guppy monies for easy profit for the devs. Don't worry about it my dude. If it pumps it doesn't mean it'll work. No coin has proved its groundbreaking real world use yet.

maybe the tech is like the other tech that introduce to people with many of benefits, but to know how good they are, you must follow every information that they released and if you don't know something from their projects, you can directly asked with them so you can get the right answer.

I appreciate responses but I was more wanting to know if it would actually work, I'm a dumb ass I simply don't get the tech of new projects so I look to guys here who do.

So I think I get the Static nodes they are using as they basically are like masternodes maybe but the Chords stuff I don't understand but more importantly will it actually work with a crypto coin?

They posted this on this forum I really don't understand it to make an informed opinion. My only thoughts are is this something like Byteball which also has no POW or POS? Byteball uses DAG but this is Chords??..it's all fucking bullshit word soup to me arrrrag!

You were kicked off because you were being abusive, you could of asked questions there but you chose to be an idiot.

Just like then this thread seems more about spreading FUD that finding out information. Its all on the thread. Though due to how young the project the visuals are bad and are just temporary placeholders but we have a pro designer making the logo and website right now, bear that in mind please. The developer actually worked with Peter Szor a giant in the internet security industry. He knows what he's doing. Amazing things are being done in this project which are going to turn a lot of things upside down,l like no POW, NO POS, more secure than any other chain, CHORDS is completely new to crypto, it makes for scalability, security,  and the most efficient safe quickest way to create consensus on the blockchain. You will hear a lot about this over the coming months mark my words. The only bad thing about XBY is its only sold on YOBIT right now which means most of early investors are in my opinion a bunch of scammers at least 30% are say, so there are some idiots on the slack. Hopefully more quality people will join.

Join the slack again under another name and maybe if you aren't abusive someone will answer your questions we have already approaching 300 people on the slack and we are only 2 weeks old.

The mostly smart guys you are focusing on can criticise which might discourage you. Instead I would say pitch your talent to group of guys, form a team, reform the plan and come out with something big. Then others will follow. The feeling around here is that every coin coming out is a shit one even though we have seen several still coming out and still breaking the barrier despite the general belief about coins.

Huh?

This is a real coin already, I didn't just invent it in my head! lol ......I'll change the thread title to include the coins name maybe.

Seriously though someone here must be able to give me some tech opinion if this system would actually work and if it would be a good way to create consensus on the blockchain. Please be quick as I want decide to invest or not soon.

Where have all the smart guys gone? Am I asking in the wrong section?

CHORDS is completely new to crypto

Isn't CHORD just an implentation variant of BitTorrent-DHT?

I was really intrested in this coin for time, but sold everything couple of days ago. It seems that team is not trying to do something, for their system to work. They done a great website - cool, they were running some promo(where nobody got bonuses), but they dont make something with the idea of the project. I hope that someday we will see some great news about this project, but at the moment nothing intresting.
