For the past few days = several projects and still counting have been introduced with billion supply and overwhelming premine.
Maybe it's the trend nowadays, copy & paste coin, post the ann thread, dump the premine once it hit the exchange/s, then abandon...  
You will know if the project has really gone a long and laborious way of development.
You can tell by how the ANN is presented, the content, the supporting links and the road map.
I do hope that the OP here has a different plan to sustain and develop this coin.

It's too cheap, who will buy it?

Why would anyone buy a 5 Billion supply coin with no real, innovative features or developments? Plus, who in his sound mind would care to mine a coin with a reward of 600 coins and the pre-mine is 950,000,000 coins. When it get listed, it will be dirt-cheap and people will get screwed over with 950 Million (pre-mined) coins that can be dumped in the market anytime.

YUGE premine, no purpose at all, yet we will still see people throwing money at it mining.
This isn't even worth downloading the wallet, will prob never see exchange unless someone pays the entry, and even so you will just get dumped on by this like 900,000,000 million+ premine
