I don't really trust these calculators. For example, in Russian the debt is reduced. Why? The economy is falling, and the debt needs to grow. Then where does the information? I think it's fake. Though of course the fact that America has the largest debt it's true. While I don't see it somehow bothered the Americans.

These debts are mis understood.  They are not like normal debts by ordinary persons, that are forced to pay back.  In fact, US debt measures how much the US profited from their dollar being a world reserve currency.  The US debt is the total amount of actual economic value that the US obtained from the outside world, for the service of providing them with dollars, nothing more. 

Look at it this way: suppose that you have an unlimited credit card.  Each month, this credit card gives you a state of your "debt", that is to say, what you spent with the card until now.  But you don't have to pay back.  So the higher the number, the more stuff you bought with the credit card ; the higher the number, the more economic wealth you obtained from the outside, with no counter party from you, apart from having this number increase.

The only way in which the US would have to pay back all this debt, is if the US were to want all these dollars back, to destroy them.  Then of course, the US would have to deliver a lot of economic wealth to the outside world, to all these holders of dollars, in order for these dollars to come back.  But the US doesn't care to get these dollars back, on the contrary.

If China or a few countries will try to lay claim to repay the debt to America, the Americans will declare a default or succumb dollar inflation. Of the 19 billion debt paid one. Americans get rid of its debt, and China loses their money. So nobody wants to do it.

This has been like that for like as long as I can remember. It's not a problem for the US to have the largest national debt in the world and keep being the strongest economy. The entire world uses the dollar and unwillingly pays in one way or another for the deficiencies of the US financial system.

Regardless whether this "debt" have to be paid or not, there's no doubt America is overreaching itself. Just look at all the constant war it initiated in the past years. Meanwhile other countries like China are slithering their way to the top. I'm not fond of the Chinese government as well but they surely are playing a good game right now and could be the center of a new system. I mean, the One Belt project would definitely make them the hegemon of their side of the globe (don't know how Russia would respond though).

One day we'll wake up and find out that China legally owns most of the world, without firing a single bullet. They are here too. I'm located in a small EU country where the Chinese have not only become the #1 investor, but they are also buying farming lands like crazy. It's not a question of if the Chinese will dominate the world, it's a question of when. And how will a Chinese dominated world look like especially considering that most of the positive traits of modern day China are copied from the west? We all know how the US changed the mainstream world culture in the past 60-100 years. What will the Chinese contribute to the world when they are #1 world power?

I really think the problem is about Foreigners owning the US Debt that's the real problem. What if the Chinese and other countries calls for the money to be paid, that's the real problem in all of this. Why couldn't the debt be owned by citizens of the US rather than foreigners.
