$1MM segwit bounty

I am just sharing this from reddit and posting it in bitcoin board since it is SegWit related for the most part. and I am only interested in that part.

A lot of people have been saying that segwit is unsafe because segwit coins are "anyone-can-spend" and can be stolen. So lets put this to the test. I put up $1MM of LTC into a segwit address. You can see it's a segwit address because I sent and spent 1 LTC first to reveal the redeemscript.

here is to hoping Litecoin clarifies as many things as it can about SegWit so we can finally move on from this bullshit state we are currently stuck in!

This is a good development- litecoin has now become the real test net for Segwit. I hope the result will pursue more miners to support Segwit.

But this doesn't actually prove anything.

If this guy was against SegWit in secret, he could just spend the coins and then everyone else would laugh at him and support different scaling solutions.  It basically could be a giant conspiracy for all we know - if the coins actually get spent it wouldn't prove whether SegWit security works.
