Shouldn't my shares/m change if the difficulty changed? My average Mh is 675 and I'm getting 9.7 shares/m.

I ask this question since pools reward you based on how many shares that are accepted. Now if you hash rate is 1Gh, but you only getting 10 shares accepted per minute, thats not good.

Nah, in a pool shares are just difficult 1 blocks. Used as proof of work to pay you. Unrelated to the bitcoin network difficulty

some pools will let you mine at higher difficulty values so you can get more money, for say an asic.

I would say 1/3 of the time i'm at difficulty 1, the other times anywhere from 2 to as high as 10K.

Mining is not a get rich quick scheme, if it is epic profitable then of course more people start mining and the network difficulty increase  Wink
