Hi, I'm new to bitcoin and want to get involved/learn. I opened a Blockchain wallet and bought some bitcoins on Bittyliscious at the value of £25.91. When the bitcoins arrived in my wallet there was only £23.91, can you help me understand where the £2 went ?

Your advice, support is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

It might be the fee or >> price difference  . How long did it take to get your coins ? this different could be due to BTC price decrease for example ( you bought it while it was 1700 and when it arrive it was 1650 ) .

Any way to get a real help to understand what happened please post your TX and a lot of users here can help you Smiley

I am quite sure that those 2 pound were spent on transaction fee as most of the bitcoin exchange platforms deduct fee from users balance rather than from there pocket and 2 pound worth of bitcoin is around recommended fee per transaction right now.

It will be more useful if instead of listing the fiat price at what you bought bitcoin, that you listed the bitcoin that you got and the bitcoin that arrived at your wallet, most likely this was the result of fees but it could also be a matter of a transaction taking a lot of time and the value of bitcoin changing.
