Hello,

About a week ago I sent a small transaction and it still hasn't been confirmed. I can't raise the network fee in the wallet which I am using. Does someone have an idea how can I speed this up or resend it?

The transaction is: cc033304f5f937e8ce20e21de96384d1a51eca0cb980651110bd490c3ff69ea6

Thanks,
Angell

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Depending on which wallet you sent it from you can probably respend it using doublespending. On a semi-related note, I hate the way bitcoin is these days. Stupid debating from both sides, something that I should not have to pay attention to, and fees are getting pretty crazy. I use the blockchain.info wallet and the recommended fee it gives me is often half what is a MINIMUM to get the TX confirmed in a reasonable time.

Your fees are one of the lowest (I mean 26 satoshi/byte... Come on), that's why it's definitely dropped from the network. An advice: Change your wallet – if you can't set the fees, your transactions will be screwed over. I had a similar wallet in the past, and it fucked me up, literally. Go with Electrum or Coinbase (in case you send small amounts like these).

Yes, coinbase is pretty good sending with the requisite network fees in order to get a quicker confirmation so I second and will recommend you to use it next time you want to send transactions this low.

I had a similar problem recently. It was about very small transactions with fee I couldn't regulate. I've tried also viabtc, that didn't helped and after a while this transactions has just disappeared from transactions list on blockchain and now I can't see it anymore and it was never confirmed.
