Looking into 'high usage' tariffs now and i'm looking at £0.11 / $0.14 KW/h - London, United Kingdom. Interested to see what others get? Anyone on that solar hype getting £0.00 per KW/h  ? |

There's an oddly large amount of FL miners in this thread. Curious though, which service provider? I was looking at power costs for warehouse space as well in Orlando. |

$0.10 kw/h here in Upstate New York.
We're looking into solar panels, although I don't think that will happen in the near future. Another option that I am very interested in is acquiring a natural gas to electric conversion generator since we have a gas well. It provides enough to heat our home (which is very nice with the winter we have here) but I don't know if the excess is sufficient for a conversion generator setup or not.

My local town thought it would be good if they have their own power company because, you know, they can run it better than a company which services millions of customers....
In ohio you can also lower your rate very easily. except with my power company.
They are horrible.

Well Gulf Power of course but there is another provider called CHELCO that charges a base rate of .064 per kwh. CHELCO has very low rates for less than 50 kwh usage but any more than that and it is very expensive in comparison to Gulf Power. |

What do you class as high usage? I'm paying about the same rate as a business but needed to be using over 200,000 KW per year to get that rate.. |

0,15 € cent in Austria (Europe) not Australia..and NO, we have no Kangaroos in Austria   Also saving a lot of money on heating in Winter with my rigs |

I've been told the cheapest commercial electric in the state is in Lakeland (They run their own power company or something?). I talked to them and they said AFTER all taxes, fees, etc. it costs $0.085. FPL will quote you something similar....but before taxes/fees. So I think through FPL its about $0.09 - $0.10. |
