Currently using 3 Sapphire Pulse RX 570's 4GB with Hynix memory. Waiting on a motherboard to come in to add an additional 3.

Copied the 1500 straps
Undervolted cards to 0.818v
Core clock: 1140
Mem clock: 2050
In order to lower the voltage more i'd have to lower the core clock which hurts mining performance too much. So far all 3 cards are running between 80-84 watts and has been stable for a little over 24 hours. What are your opinions on the outcome? Could I improve the hash rates anymore without raising the wattage?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Pretty darn good on the voltage, must be high ASIC quality, rest is more or less expected results of decent optimization

Have you checked the power consumption at the wall?

You could also try this
https://anorak.tech/t/anoraks-vbios-collection-optimized-settings-for-performance-power-saving/13/3

and power from the wall would be interesting

that's just the core at 82w, the vrm uses another 70w..check it with aida64

my rx570 elpida @ 900mV uses about 150w for solo 28MH/s eth with core on 1132MHz, mem on 1975MHz..and 180w for dual 28MH/s eth + 280MH/s pasc

this seems values more credible!!!
GPU 80 watt are just a part of the power consumption...

Yeah, that's why I asked for an at-the-wall measurement.

I don't currently have anyway to measure the power from the wall. Yeah I haven't thought about that power draw being from the GPU core only. You think they are actually using much more than what MSI Afterburner is saying?

Anyone using asus strix RX 570 here?

I can only manage to get it to 25mh/s at 1150/1950MHz core/mem

Undervolted to 1025mv and drawing 99W at GPU core. Any timing straps recommendation for this? It uses elpida ram

I download Aida64 and checked the power consumption of the GPU and VRM and it doesn't seem to make sense. I raised to the voltage to a little bit under stock voltage ~0.962v just to see how much power this would consume and Aida64 is saying the GPU is using ~115 watts and the VRM is using ~93 watts. But I highly doubt that means the cards are using 115 + 93 = 208 watts? That can't be. Which means at default voltage this card would be using way over 200 watts which it shouldn't since its TDP is only 150 watts. You sure the VRM wattage isn't just a percentage of the GPU wattage?

don't check the voltage like that you need a wattmeter, not with software, software are not precise, this gpu can't consume 82watt, should be above 100w, especially if you mine in dual mining, also isn't better for you to mine sia than pascal?

I believe the software is fairly accurate but not complete. It shows the wattage of the core and not what is also used by the VRAM.

Short version; always use a wattmeter.

Hi @hedfun22, how to you mod rx 570 to 29HS. I'm current running solo eth with 6 card 570 (HIS) but 1 card only ~ 27Hs. Thank you.

The TDP is 200 watts as far as I know.

The last picture of this techpowerup review an RX 570 uses 187 watts during Furmark and in this tomshardware review it also seem to use 200 watts with a short peak of 225 watts.

Anyway, I'd never trust software reported power consumption values.

yes I'm sure, when I sum up all the wattage from aida64 it gives me the same number like the wattmeter on the wall
