Which one makes the price rise? Pump or the dump?

I'm trying to keep up with the trollbox but I'm still pretty new to this. Fontas has a pump at 6:20pm EST and I wanna see if I should invest in NMC before it.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Noobs loses the money, Fontas wins it  Wink
When he calls the pump (rise) he's always going to have the best market position... easy money for him.

Pump will make the price rise, dump will make it fall. I believe. Smiley
See it as a supply and demand thing. If you dump you will increase supply thus lowering price.

also real pumps are not announced please don't fall into those traps...if he says its at 6:20 he is hoping someone like you will jump in and drive the price of his position higher....use the troll box to tell how the market might move, but cautiously...i tend to use it only as a measure of how volatile things will be, but never the direction.

...keep up with the trollbox...
Don't do that. The trollbox is useless for any kind of a real discussion. Take anything you read from there with a pint of salt.

Thats right, pumping and dumping takes a lot of resources however to really move the price on gox.  The idea is to knock out peoples limit orders to buy or sell and profit on the manipulation caused.
