Windows wont recognize drivers are modded bios RX480

Im currently mining with ethos, but considering trying out windows again. The reason I never stuck with windows is that after I mod the bios of a card, windows will no longer recognize it and when I try to mine, claymore does not see any GPUs. I have found a couple threads with hacks to fix this but I have had no success. Are there any other tips out there? A certain AMD driver version I should try?

last one driver what accept modded bios was 16.11.5 version i think, but still for more than 4 cards on windows you need driver or registry fix

It's hard to say, sometimes it's about driver sometimes rom itself. Last time I didi xfx 480 8g flash with 29Mh/s rom and I wasn't able to get them work till the 16.9.2 driver
