Very true. Especially with coins like this, big holders wouldn't try to crash the market, since there isn't enough of a market yet since it's still young. They would sell a little at a time if they needed to get rid of some. Besides, holding them helps the price since there's less supply

if the difficulty increases, hopefully a lot of people will stop mining so i can put my GPU to good use :p

Nice to know there are newcomers still wanting to jump into FTC after going through turbulence Smiley

Keep truckin' along. Big time miners can go back to LTC and forget about FTC. We need a difficulty roller coaster to shake them.

At 88 difficulty, .047 exchange, and 520 kh/s I make 1.13 LTC per day, a fraction less than mining LTC directly. But if the exchange raises to just .055, I make more LTC by mining FTC.

Yes it could cause the price to drop, or to increase. We'll find out tomorrow.

There is no market, if you look at LTC/BTC sell/buy ratio:

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/orderbook.php?pair=ltc-btc&market=btc-e

It's pretty much 1:1

Right now, the volume of traders selling FTC to buying is 2:1

Traders are straight up retarded if they are still holding FTC, tomorrow that ratio will be 2:0.

Are you so clueless, tomorow the rate will go up because people making less FTC will NOT be willing to trade them with as little LTC as today.

This will continue until price saturates.

Well who knows what'll happen, look at TRC and all they've been through with the crazy ASIC jumps. They went from around 6k difficulty to 160k difficulty at which point a majority of people jumped the ship, and they're still around today and their price even doubled from what it was before after everything was fixed and settled. Thing is no matter who says what for which side, it'll follow its own course. FTC difficulty is merely jumping x2 compared to almost x30, not to mention FTC seems to have a larger long-term support base than TRC had at the time of their troubles.

Group 1: Difficulty increases; miners dump and jump ship - FTC dies.
Group 2: Difficulty increases; miners increase price to compensate - FTC FTW.

My head hurts - anyways if you are dumping FTC feel free to send a few my way; joined the party late and would appreciate a few freebies.
