Gold is now more stable than bitcoin, the current bitcoin is developing, bitcoin price volatility is relatively large. So investing in gold is safer than investing in bitcoin, at least in the price of gold, which is more stable than that of bitcoin. Of course, investment in bitcoin may bring higher profits. I think it works different ways. Investment on gold is secure more than bitcoin but the income on bitcoin is far better than gold. Now a days the Price of bitcoin is so high where people are losing profit by investing gold.

Investing in gold is of course more secure than investing in Bitcoin. At least if you store it in your own home, somewhere safe (hidden room or something).

In 2012 I invested in both gold and bitcoin. By today, with gold I lost 20% but with bitcoin I gained 3000%. Now bitcoin is the largest asset in my portfolio.
However, I still find gold more safe/stable investment in long term (10y and over).

Gold is safe if you physically own it. In your home for example. If you only own a piece of paper then it is not safe.
While with bitcoin, you OWN the bitcoins even with a simple paperwallet.

You guys should all be millionaires by now if would have trusted the bitcoin that time. I guess, now you learned some risks are worth taking.

For me even the value of bitcoin rises so high I still believe that investing in gold is more secure than bitcoin because bitcoin value fluctuates from time to time and it is unpredictable that putting all your money in investment to this is so risky there still a chance that the value of bitcoin become so low or even zero. I am disagree with you. Your bitcoins may also be stolen by hackers. They can steal your password. This has happened to many people.
And you did not consider Bitcoin price fluctuations.
I think Bitcoin can be more profitable than gold. But it is more risky.

Yes investing in bitcoin is more secure than investing in gold because for now of course investment in gold is safer, but maybe for the future investment in bitcoin is more profitable and safe (not just bitcoin but depends on cryptocurrency ). What makes people think now if investing in bitcoin is not safe because you know for yourself that bitcoin is not controlled by anyone and the price is fluctuating. Essentially it all depends on your own decision for now.

Nothing is fully secure, not even Fort Nox. It's interesting though, storing gold in a bank. Bank robberies happen far less (if at all?!) now due to banks not holding much cash, but if it had a room glowing with gold, there's decent reason for them?

each investment has its own risk. I can not be sure that investment in butcoin is safer than gold. because investing in bitcoin too much risk that if in our wallet hacker then our bitcoin can be lost all or if the network of ugly signal can also be influential. so according to ane sih masing2 investments have their own weaknesses and advantages. only when in surub chooses I prefer choosing an investment in bitcoin.

In my point of view, because i have experienced of investing in bitcoin, that's why i will say investment in bitcoin is more secure than gold investment. Then the gold investors of course they will vote for gold investment. being secure is not the question, the question is which is more practical to transact, obviously btc is more safe because unlike gold, you have to physically bring it to places for trading, we all know it is not safe, unlike btc, you are doing business in the comfort of your home or office and you don't have to carry tons of bitcoin, lol.

If we talk about long term then gold is more safe investment as there is price stability and can be secured in bank lockers recovering some interest also but on the other hand BTC is considered less safe because of huge price volatility and you might loose your money but as far as profit is concerned gold cannot be compared to bitcoin as it is far behind it.

It's depends for people who have gold and still its not safe the gold  even you can keep at your home or room. So I think its better to invest bitcoin you know where can you use or I think its secure.

Of course, our first priorities is to secured our own belongings rather than displaying it to be recognized. Having secured is not an options but it is totally our own choice.
Bitcoin is not fully secured than gold. Even though we have owned a unique keys or password but still isn't enough to say we are totally secured. Because we all knew that, a lot of hackers online and they can easily trace if there is a transactions made with our accounts. And even a single mistake might lead them to take our belongings and leave nothing.
