I want to invest in a new scrypt miner - due to the pump in the crypto world in the last few weeks I've gotten some extra funds and want to put them to good use now!

So which one do you think I would go for...

Of course there's the wolf v1 https://www.ehsminer.com/product/ehs-asic-scrypt-miner-vi/ which is 2 GH fast, but costs €6400.

I just read on CCN https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/knc-miner-returns-improved-mining-product-sale/ that knc is making a comeback with a titan 2.0 , which is  $1499 for 750 MH

What do you think would be best for the future, considering how the difficulty increases

Id hate to say this, but during these times, buying coin rather than mining seems to be the only way to profit.

Still, if you like to mine, then go for gold!

I'm still waiting to see what new miners will be on offer over the coming months.

I expect Bitmain have something in the pipeline to hit 15-20TH/s

You think they will be making a miner better then the s9 this year?

I am not so sure.

Unless they no longer own the domain it wouldn't make sense to just scrap the kncminer.com domain and go to a newer one with a shitty design and no cart system. I smell a huge scam with this site, no matter how big of a site published articles about it something is just not right.

Yep, reeks of bullshit.

And if it isn't KFC are as dumb as ever. Still using that retarded cube design? Still only 1 PCI-e 6 pin per cube? Fuck off.

They state 1300w draw with a provided PSU with 4 leads included. Unless they're using something else than 6 pins... Which would be a pain in the ass compatibility wise when the PSU croaks.

there is even an article about it in cointelegraph
https://cointelegraph.com/press-releases/knc-miner-re-opens-business-with-improved-titan-miner

but anyway I'm waiting for something more powerful from bitmain.

Does anyone know what's happening to Litecoin, I thought segwit activation would pump the price more

Im not sure Id be buying ASICs right now, but to each their own.

With the release of the A3 and L3 miners the difficulty has gone way up and continues to raise daily. The miners listed here, if they are not scams, will add to that difficulty as well as BW.com releasing a new miner (not for public sale) "soon". I can see us pushing the diff up to half a million by 2018.

you don't buy a minign rig for scrypt you buy an asic, but they are not available, check the buy group for the L3, will be shipped later this summer, and before they ship that the diff will be too high for any good profit, better to focus on gpu they have better resale value and better profit

what is the A3 for scrypt or something else? the L3 should be the most powerful never heard of the A3
