http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2013/04/30/could-paypal-be-on-horizon-for-bitcoin/

Some extracts :

“It’s a new disruptive technology, so, yeah, we’re looking at Bitcoin closely,” Donahoe said. “There may be ways to enable it inside PayPal.”

Donahoe said eBay hasn’t yet made any commitments to use the currency.

........ “Virtual currency is something that’s here to stay,” Donahoe said.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

With paypal investing into Bitcoin other companies will see it and race to implement BTC. Nobody wants to be the last one left behind.

I suspect governments will give Paypal some reasons/threats not to incorporate bitcoins into their payment network.
Maybe its just the paranoid skeptic in me.  Roll Eyes

At least Paypal is thinking about it. Smiley  That is encouraging.  And if it does happen, it will be a fun ride for sure.

Would be fun, imagine if BTC is accepted on eBay via PayPal payments then it will shoot sky high.
