I will have difficulties to believe that user base or investment in bitcoin can be doubled in 2017...Except there will be any very strong positive news, which I don't see either.

We can speak all the day about how big bitcoin is and how the price will reach new all time highs in the next few weeks or, we can speak about the same thing while giving solid and valid arguments. I prefer the second way. The price reacing 3,500$ by the end of the year Its not unlikely but we first need to get a few problems fixed (SegWit vs BU is the first thing).

We can say that the price of bitcoins would be more than before and it has a high chance that the price of bitcoins would be more than 3500$,well there are other problems that needs to be resolved and the mass acceptance is required in order for the price of bitcoins to go high of that extend.

If we will base our speculation on the current movement of Bitcoin then Yes it is possible for Bitcoin to reach $3,500 and even higher. There might be some hurdles that Bitcoin needs to go through and thats negative news like an exchange site was hacked and funds disappear but news like Australia will start regulating Bitcoins by July 1 thats a positive news that will further strengthen the market price of Bitcoin.

In 2013 Bitcoin has between the first "small" rise to $200 and the second one up to $1000+ by the end of the year, maybe history will repeat itself, in a more sustainable way.

I think realistic speculation would be 2500$ rather than 3500$. Its only may right now and we still have 6+ months till end of this year so price can easily go way higher than $2000.

It's like saying 'price likely to hit $1,500 this year, back when the price is struggling to passed the $1,000 price or even $800 price but now look at the current price. The question is answerable by maybe yes, maybe no but the main point is, it has a chance.

For $3,500, it's not a matter if it's true or not since that's why it called speculation in the first place. If it will don't hit then it's fine as long as the price is sitting at our considered high price.

In theory. If btc were to double the price, we would need a lot more people using it. Something like4x more people using it on a weekly basis. Fees are discouraging people from doing this. Volatility causes normal people to tune out also.

Maybe if stable a bit longer of a period like a few months and good news and we get 20%  higher price.

There is a huge possibility that bitcoin will likely hit $3500 this year.  Though we cannot say it is 100% true since it is still in possibility.  With the exponential adoption of Bitcoin and more country recognizing BTC, Bitcoin will be able to reach such amount this year.

with bitcoin anything is possible, specially these days with all the good news about it. but i still think we are not completely ready for such a big rise. the orderbooks on exchanges are still not that filled, and there are a lot of panic sellers who are waiting for some imaginary targets to get out because they thing that target is the end. like what they thought about $1000 target.

Actually, There are some indicators so that we can predict bitcoin price as well as he speculation above. Bitcoin is now making name around the world because it is use as payment for all cyber crime like ransomware.
We recently here the news about this ransomware virus that encrypts file and ask for btc ransom in able to decrypt it again, And yesterday, A big news that extortion disney for the pirates of the carribean movie to be leaked once they didn't pay for bitcoin. Even though it is used in negative things, It is still advertised around the world.

i don't think price rising quickly is good for bitcoin, maybe next block halve will reach 3500$

It's hard to predict the future. But in my opinion, it is not impossible to hit that price in cryptocurrency. As I always say cryptocurrency or bitcoin is accelerating. It maybe rise, crash, rise, crash, rise, and chrash again. It depends. But who knows it come true. If its happen it will be great as well.
