Base on the link given above https://www.quora.com/What-is-OneCoin-and-is-it-legitimate
Looks like this is the same as MLM scam much better to don't invest in this kind of crypto currency.. better to go try top 20 altcoin in coinmarketcap.com
Much more chance to make a good profit. .

Did you lose much to them OP?

Alot of people wouldn't believe it, I remember trying to tell people on Youtube and just getting bombarded with people going "You are a dumb ass, you can't see opportunity even when it's right in front of your face". I tried to explain that you can't sell the coins, there is no blockchain (effectively making the whole system vaporware), and the owners have scammed before (I.E. see "BigCoin" lol), but it always fell on deaf ears. Everyone was super lit on the OneCoin koolaid. lol

I honestly think alot of people didn't expect scammers in a MLM Ponzi to be so up front & in your face. We've got Forbes magazine covers (Forbes, you should be ashamed), we got countries whom has diplomats standing next to the scammers, we got commercials and youtube and affiliates. They definitely knew how to make something viral, and they completely left this forum out of it (smart on their part, knowing we'd see through their shit in the first post). I can't blame people for falling for it, I just think if the average Onecoin investor had even a basic knowledge of how bitcoin works and the altcoin section of this forum they would've seen this scam from a mile away.

I'm sorry if you got caught up in this, but let it be a lesson. Don't invest in things you don't understand, especially in the world of crypto. There's way too many people here ready to take your money, you need to be choosey.

I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Ps - Straight up, the legitimate coin that adopts Onecoin's viral marketing strategy (minus the ICO/Ponzi scam BS) would be friggin HUUGGEE

Is OneCoin really a scam?
MLM yes,  scam can be because onecoin use pyramid system. Most pyramid  system will end in scam. Why don't you invest in trading legit altcoin or mining like hashflare or buy hashrate in nicehash? Those are true mining.

hahah well said. Yeh i would agree, Ripple does not belong in the blockchain space. I wonder if many people understand how it came to be. I recall a time where coinmarketcap would hide Ripple from the market unless you triggered the option to show it.

OneCoin has had a pretty bad reputation in the market and overall community. I would suggest you look into for yourself and see their history and news surrounding it.

Is OneCoin really a scam?
If its based on MLM scheme then its a sure scam and yet its not still being listed or considered as crypto at all.Just like what i saw on TBC coin in the first place and now it has enormous price per coin but sadly those dumb people who do make purchase of those coins been lose all their bitcoin for sure and starts regretting that is why we should really be aware like on this Onecoin.Stay away on this scam coin.

This is a clever scam designed to target all those people (and they are many) who have heard again and again about people making money with Bitcoin but they have no clues on how cryptocurrencies actually work and what they are - nor they are interested in learning that. But they wish for the benefits, ie to become rich. This makes them the perfect victims for this sort of scam.

This is definitely a scam, it is out there for already 3 years and since then there is no proof of a blockchain. THREE fucking years and still not able to list on coinmarketcap or what so ever, while this is easy as fuck, just look at al the noob coins coming in. Onecoin is the biggest scam ever, you literally give your money away....those people who invest in this shit..omg...no words for it...

It is really obvious that it is a scam because if that coin is not a scam then we can see that coin in different exchanges and a lot of people will also talk about that coin and they will just support it continuously without having a doubt but we can see that there is no solid proof that they are a good coin and a lot of authorities already made some actions against that coin.
