Don't know if anyone asked this yet, but I don't see this to be a bad idea.

Implement a appraisals thread under Marketplace > Goods?

Yes, no?

I made one but hardly anyone responded and I've asked people on my thread to take a look at my necklace and appraise it but it seems you just have to set prices yourself lol Tongue

It was awhile ago so it will probably be lost in the depths of the forums by now.

Not enough threads/posts per day to warrant one, sorry.

This doesn't make sense, maybe because there is no thread like so, there are no post for appraisals. imo, doesn't make sense stating this above quoted.

Edit:

It's like saying, no one will buy this car yet, because it does not exist yet.

+1 I really don't see a fitting place to even ask for appraisal that wouldn't be deemed off-topic.

Exactly, this is what deterred me from getting an appraisal for my 5850's. No appropriate place to ask.

Hmm.. from what I gather, this should be posted in the Services subsection (if you want a professional/paid appraisal) or simply at the Computer Hardware subsection if you're asking around for what people would be willing to pay for it. Theymos prefers to have more existing posts on the issue before starting a new subforum for it - like when we added the Digital Goods subforum.
