Is Zcash going to be the next Bitcoin?

I have been noticing some very odd things happening around Zcash.....  For example, we know that Bitcoin is going to hardfork pretty soon, which causes a lot of confusion, and dumping....   All the while Slushpool, which is the first, and original Bitcoin mining pool, has added a Zcash mining pool. I'm pretty sure it's because they have the majority of Bitcoin miners, and if they decided to bail on Bitcoin at the hardfork, where would the miners logically go? Well of course to Zcash, and we all know why. So...  Slushpool would literally keep the mining operations within by offering a Zcash mining pool. Since Bitcoin is obviously banker backed, Zcash would be the obvious 2nd runner, banker backed stable alternative for the front runner Bitcoin, while offering the mods within Zcash that are not present in Bitcoin. Bitcoin was the "all encompassing" get it out to the public, make crypto currency a household word, pump it, then dump it with improvements to the blockchain and fallover to Zcash...  Anyone else picking up on the obvious? It's kind of like the XM Radio vs. Sirius scenario all over again.

Not really i would really vote ethereun to be the next bitcoin becaudebit the closest altcoin in the market that have a great potential in competing agains the bitcoin but ofcourse so many altcoins have a great potential in the coming years but for me its ethereum.

The next bitcoin? don't kidding me dude. Zcash just a common altcoin with based on zero proof to make the coin being anonymous for the users. and it will never be the next bitcoin. Banker is not backed bitcoin. but just want to try to invest  on it.

The next bitcoin will be to be an evolution of what bitcoin is now + new developments that bitcoin can never offer.

If the coin is a bitcoin system carbon copy with no improvements, it will always be a knock off to the master version.

For the simple fact that by coin is where it is today and every other alt wants to occupy that position is not magic and its not just going to happen without a push. Its simple if zcash wants a place of such, the developers just need to do their own study as well in understanding the path in which bitcoin took to get here then see how that can be improved and implemented for zcash to get there or even faster than bitcoin. Its as simple as that.

I dont think Zcash be the next bitcoin, for me its ethereum is the next bitcoin. Because for the longest time Ethereum is the top cyrptocurrency also until today. Ethereum is the best altcoin nowadays.

It's a chain split off of ZCL so buying ZCL now gets you in on Zencash early. I'm not sure any of those coins have right potential to attack BTC, just like BTC is still very young to attack $.

Then someone will fork your coin and will create another Bitcoin killer, and so on. But i must say i'm surprised when i see NO PREMINE coin i thought this is abandoned as non efficient, and replaced with ICO almighty.. Zcash will stay PnD coin, and this wont be changed soon.

First mover advantage is a thing still. The amount of advancements a new coin has needs to be enough to make up for the late start. Something new could come around but any new coin needs to follow the premise of solving something new that nothing else has.

To make something clear, I am not touting Zencash as a BTC killer, but rather a ZEC killer in which you even said ZEC is a PnD coin since its only unique feature is its privacy option that nobody will trust due to the special interest all over the coin while XMR is winning on the privacy space for actual use. I wouldn't use a privacy coin as a basis of being a BTC killer or replacement anyway

i would fully agree. If a coin is made and its strongest strength is anonymity then there are more than 10 coins i can think of that have such a feature. Some operate behind TOR and others are sharing the same principles. Good luck to them, not saying its a bad idea, but it definitely not unique and far from being the first to do such a thing.

edit: looking at the graphic banner, i can come to see "fully encrypted" and "censorship resistance" as their highlighted points. Last i checked those were standard features of all blockchains... apart from ethereum which decided to reverse and censor the DOA funds being stolen.

Well, all I know is that if JPMorgan is going to partner with Zcash for commercial use in banking and trading, it's definitely going somewhere. Bitcoin is going to force their hardfork on Aug 1st, and that's when it's going to tank like the Titanic. If only 1-2% of Bitcoin holders decide to bail out, or 1-2 large holders, it'll drop the price to ZERO!  Try running the numbers yourself if you don't believe me....  Just go to CryptoCompare, click on the forums tab, choose Bitcoin Forum, then in the nav bar just above where you add a comment, click on the "orders" button, then go down the page and select "sell", then enter 10 million dollars and look at the "price impact" then look over to the "average price"......  YOUR JAW WILL DROP! People are literally going to LOSE MILLIONS!  I have a friend who is holding over $2.7 million in Bitcoin between him and 2 others, and they are going to bail out the last week in July and place it in Zcash.  I only have 5 Bitcoin currently, and they told me to get out before they do or I'll lose it all. So what are your thoughts ?

Pretty far that this thing would be happen since their are so many altcoins that can compete Zcash on this kind of falacy and i think for now the best competitor of bitcoins is the Ethereum and might it will surpass its marketcap and became top 1 later on these days or month.

as my idea dash is the most sutable coin to be a next btc alternative becouse dash transection keep litning speed and high secure low transection fee mostly very active community on it

True, why zcash? It doesnt even yet surpassed ETH how much more on bitcoin. Not to be bitter on this coin but i would rather choose ETH than Zcash. Comparing both altcoin would really tell their differences. Dont bother to argue on this coin because its not even yet surpassing etherium.Even eth doesnt guarantee that it would be the next bitcoin.Who knows? No one can tell on what would happen ahead.

I don't think zcash has the ability to replace bitcoin places and there are other coins got more potential and better future to replace bitcoin, the advantage of zcash is only anonymous, and zcash popularity is really low, if I can choose alt coin that can replace bitcoin I will never thought of zcash

Even zcash is very high as of now . I think the next bitcoin is ethereum because I see the potential of ethereum . Both is goof but i choose ether. If ether die maybe zcash is the next bitcoin . But I dont ether die it will live long for few deceades for sure. But everything is possible to happen. No one can know what coin is the next bitcoin in the future.

No, zcash will not going to be next bitcoins it will be difficult for it, because there are good altcoins than zcash
 (the good in here related with capitalization) even zcash has expensive price, bitcoins is more trust than zcash.
The altcoins will be next bitcoins is ethereum not zcash, we can see on coinmarketcap.com for the data.
