Big investors hold large volume of bitcoin, whereas average men hold less than 0.5 btc. Though they are aware that the price is simply not affordable, most users try hard to save as much possible through differesnt earning availabilities that are available. There are users who make regular investment on bitcoin from the income for living hoping for an enormous growth to profit in the best way possible.

So we cannot know how many users of bitcoin are there or how many bitcoin they own, but I think as a huge percentage of bitcoin owners do visit this forum from time to time, we can have an idea about the average through the poll above.
As you see its quite simple, just vote for the option suitable for you on how much bitcoin you own and lets see what on average a bitcoin user owns.

Then what will happen after this poll? Even if we know the average of bitcoin owned per user what will happen? Do you think all of the answer in your poll is right answer?
Of course not, but of course everyone will be able to see where they stand in owning number of bitcoins when compared with the majority on bitcointalk at least.
Although it will not be 100% correct, but it won't be 100% wrong either, so it will be some sort of an 'average' of course, which is alright I guess.

You can find it here: https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html

1. one person can own several addresses but one address can (usually) owned by 1 person.
2. Top 1% of addresses controls 90% of total coins, sounds like in real life, no?

Bitcoin wasn't invented to be equally distributed. The ones who found it first and realized the potential are the lucky winners. As well as the ones with big pockets who can afford to buy a few thousand coins.
That's how the world is. Accept it or not.

There are two addresses that has 100k bitcoins and above. Satoshi Nakamoto must be one of them and is very rich at this moment. Looking at the data the highest number of users who owns bitcoin has a bracket of 0 to 100k satoshi. Hope we can also find some statistic on which country has the most bitcoin owned. I am really thankful that this topic was pointed out.

I guess it can't be calculated. As bitcoins are made to be moved from person to person.
For example I have periods owning 100+ bitcoins (when the price was a lot cheaper) and periods with 0, then again with some.
You can calculate only average per wallet, but anybody could have as many wallets as he wants.

https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html according to this site there is no wallet which holds more then 1% of all the BTC, which i found interesting, but sure who would keep more then 250 mil worth of bitcoin in one adress Cheesy
It would be fun if we could compare some fiat currencies vs. crypto currencies in aspect of biggest owners of currencies.
I think that we don't have to worry about those big guys who own a lot of bitcoins, eventually they will sell some of them. It may cause a bubble to pop and that's about it. Then we should see stable price growth and one ''big'' guy less and that should lead to perfect stability after some time.

Yes, especially if you include satoshi's ~1 million btc, then your average will be much larger than your median.  But with all the other large holders, I guess that will be the case regardless.
