Beth ICO ( Beth.jp ) Another Scam in cryptoland

More information would be nice indeed. It's hard to find information on them, especially since most of it is in Japanese.

But the registrar is clearly named anonymousspeech.com, which should have been more then clear that it's a register used to hide private data, hardly suspicious by itself ( I use them for businesses as well ). Not really impressed by all the other accusations to be honest.

The main problem is that they are Japanese, so doing research on them is hard. Did you bother to contact the event and find out if they are actually a sponsor? If they say no, then that would be a big thing. edit: They are now mentioned as a sponsor http://blockchainapac.fintecnet.com/.

They should definitely make a video or so introducing themselves or so, or share links with their background on it ( that already existed before the ICO ). I would like to invest in something like this, but I prefer the money to not go down in a black hole.

This certainly looks like a scam. I challenge anyone to disprove the following statements, and I'll apologise profusely if anyone can prove me wrong.

SEIJI YOSHIZAKI - Is NOT actually a a professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Kyushu, as claimed. He may not even exist.

HAYATO TAKANO - The image above this name is not the businessman of the same name.

KOYAMA HIDEYUKI - Is not a computer scientist of note, and has no published papers.

HIDEMASA KUWAE - Is not a known blockchain developer with any online presence.

If you can't disprove the above statements, then why would you invest?

So back to the thread after more than a week, and It looks like their scam is falling appart. 

They still didnt gave one proof that the project was real.

-Not any team member infos on google

-Empty Medium Blog, no technical articles about "deep learning"

-Empty Slack

-Site is down

-Community manager comes out of nowhere, can't speak Japanese, but can organise an extremely complicated Deep learning tech multi million dollar ICO with a team of Japanese people. (Very nice)

-All the informations given are very blurry and confusing.

-Just contact us on our mail so we can hide everything from our possible investors and wait the last day, so we can try to pull a last flamboyant trick.

It is not sufficient to say you are going to have a meeting and all the questions will be answered. Why are there no pages on the internet about any of your team members? Why is there no known expertise in deep learning?

I do not believe this is a scam, but rather the team does not seem competent. They have a high opinion of themselves and their ability, but as far as I can tell it is not based on anything.

Don't you think if you go for ICO you want to be sure it will be successfull? For the ICO to be successfull you should definitely provide some proof for the reliability of the project, even more after seeing such accusation like on this thread.

At least this is what I expect serious projects do - try to keep good reputation at all costs.
