Well you could try to short it on the way down and profit from the crash. Then when it its the bottom go long and get paid!

I'd probably manage to sell it before it fall below $1000 mark. But if it happen so fast that i don't have the chance, i'll buy more to lower my average investment and hold it until it rise again.

What would you do if Bitcoin price crashes? Below $200, would you hold on to the Bitcoins you are having..or sell them?

If that will be happen I will withdraw the half of my bitcoins and put it in banks. It will grow little but it will have a little profit. And the half of my bitcoin will stay on that wallet. I believe that if its happen it will regain its value again.

If it drops that low its too low to gain anything useful out of selling, so at that point only an idiot would sell.

This is where we become bagholders.  Cool

Bitcoin never going to fall to that level or below  unless  it's hard forked or hackers successfully hack many exchanges at thesame time which is not possible.

well if it crashed below $200 then really there would be no point in selling, other than the loss I would face I would regret more if the crash was just temporary and BTC rises back in just a few months at most.

Well I would just wake up from the sad dream and then go back to sleep again. As far your concern give us some valid reason to even consider a price fall, and I can help you with that, there are none whatsoever. A slight fall okay people understand but taking prices back to 200$ is a very bad idea. First of all it won't ever happen, and people prefer to buy at every dips, so do that, don't think such things. A similar topic was there when it was at 900$ and look where it is today.

If such crashes happen overnight then it will expand the volatility bracket of bitcoin. So instead of panic it will be sign that bitcoin can rise too. Therefore instead of having loss of around 90%, I will accumulate more bitcoin and wait for good times again! Wink

I follow the events that concern the crypto currency.
In this case it is easier to predict the fall or rise of the rate.
And then think, sell or wait for that to start growing again.

If that would happen, I will sell it of course because due to its demand now bitcoin only go higher and higher, so the only reason that might bitcoin go that price is having another cryptocurrecy overcome bitcoin, basically it won't comeback like the price before so it is safer for me to sell it.

If you've been in Bitcoinland long enough, you learn to expect and accept that anything is possible from the good to the bad and back again. There will always be those who panic and there will always be those who will be ready to take advantage of that opportunity.

If bitcoin goes to da moon, cool. If it crashes, that's cool too. I have my buy orders ready and waiting...

It depends on the circumstances if I just bought bitcoin and after I bought the price bitcoin down then I will hold it until the price goes back but if I still have more money then I will buy bitcoin again after did my own predictions..

I have my investments in various currencies, so I'll not be affected by the crash of bitcoin.
Although price of other currencies will also fall with the fall of bitcoin. But still I'll be better off those who have all their money in bitcoins.

While its price crashing to $200 or $100, I do not sell the bitcoins I have. Furthermore, I would buy tons of bitcoins if its price goes down to these prices.

Well, Let's say if a person or I bought whatever amount of bitcoin while it is on $1000+ then definitely that would be a very stupid decision for me or for a certain person to sell what the bitcoin we have and we have no choice but to hold it until the next pump no matter how long would it take before it will happen again because it will be a big loss Grin at the same time while it is staying on the lower price it would be a good opportunity to buy more bitcoins .

if i see the price so high for bitcoin currently i think impossible to dropped back again to $200 but if this is happening i think maybe i would be a part of panic selling and sell my bitcoin immediately because i'm pretty sure most people will do just like me

Haha. I wish that this situation can happen since we all want to buy more bitcoin with the cheap prices. But sadly, Bitcoin can not become cheaper. Many people are using it and the price will keep going up. Nothing can stop bitcoin right now

It depends on which factor it crashes down to 200 dollars. If it is from the bitcoin protocol failure which is highly unlikely I believe I would not sell or buy but would sit on the fence and watch the developments. If it is from a market price crash I would buy all the money I have in bitcoin and hold them, I missed the boat in January 2015 when price was even below the 200 dollars mark so I don't want to miss another boat if it happens again.
