Monaco is a good scam or they will not develop what they have promised. I've spoken with Wirecard directly and they do not support any cryptocurrencies.
They're pretty good scammers, I like the limited card offer to fastest and biggest 500 investors Many didn't read the WP not to be late. Hi Everyone, I'm the founder of Monaco. I would like to invite you all to our slack channel at slack.mona.co - most of the issues you have raised were addressed there already. We've got a high-caliber team and advisory board working on this project. Our co-founder and CFO is ex-Mastercard, we've got ex-Visa folks on the advisory board, alongside executives from AWS, Adyen, Emarsys. The team worked hard for almost a year to build a great product and bring it to the market and I think given the response we have received so far from the community (1500+ contributions), it was time & capital well spent. Cryptocurrencies are no longer a niche market. Top 3 exceed $60b in market cap cumulatively. What the market needs is a company that is serious about KYC, risk, compliance to come up with a product that bridges the gap between crypto & mass market. That's Monaco. That's who we are, that's our raison d'être. For all the people who are still sceptical about the project, please follow our progress over the next couple of months, slack.mona.co is the best place to do it. We're keen listeners and are very serious about building a product that the community will love. We have hit our ICO goals already, we do not need your contribution, but we do want you as a user of our product to start, and eventually as a fervent advocate, once you have a Monaco card sitting in your wallet. Kris PS. Thank you for the suggestion to update my LinkedIn profile. We are in the process of unifying our entire online presence under Monaco brand and phasing out the Foris name. It should look real good next week.

This smacks of scam infact quite a lot of these ICOs do...
These ICOs are getting diluted and people are getting savvy as project founders disappear with the cash and leave investors bagholding for eternity.
Let's get some working products that we can actually use and see the potential in before we start giving you money.
Fancy wordpress sites are ten a penny these days. Try harder.

Is this project same as token card? But it looks similar with token card project. More project with no product for the investors and just end with useless token to dump and pump. I don't ever seen the project can use their token as a tool for their platform.

I saw the video advert and was impressed so am going to visit my Parents next week and if it's still on will get my Father to invest a little bit. I would love one of these cards myself as I need a nice BTC debit card and ETH as well because am investing in e20 tokens.

Just as a followup to the Token Card 'scandal'. Their post ICO launch had a rocky start due to the tech not being developed as quickly as investors/potential users would have liked but they seem to be moving in the right direction at the moment. https://medium.com/@MonolithStudio/wavecrest-partnership-announcement-733a8e6e5554IMO this development could spell success for token card and similar products (monaco) in general What you guys think?

Quote from the article you mentioned: "We have placed a substantial batch card order for the first wave of MVP TokenCards and subsequent Beta kick-off."That definitelky would lead us to believe that there is a future for cards like Monaco Visa. https://urbancrypto.com/monaco-ico-starts-in-the-coming-hours/

Well I just posted a link to one of the alternatives. Token card is one of them. AFAIK there are a few trying to push similar tech. Something I found quite interesting though is that Wavecrest is trying to push their own brand of a so called crypto currency card called bitpay: https://bitpay.com/card/ which has nothing to do with a cryptocurrency startup. Thoughts?

good marketing
They have taken an aggressive marketing approach since they opened the ICO, which was launched with very little pre-marketing.

The only project that makes you able to spend your altcoin is only tenx pay but due to the visa crest and investors can't do it again and they must waiting for a new card that will be distributed at the end of this year

They must have seen the $26 million raised in the ICO and got a shock at how successful it was then they took their eye off the ball. They oversold the VISA approval before it even happened then ran into difficulty as there were delays before it was granted. No accountability has been presented to the investors about how, why and where the money has been spent and how much is left. Monaco Visa Card might not be a joke (time will tell) but the Monaco team definitely are a joke. I do not trust the Monaco team at all.
