[被记者问到“是否担心中国的强大会威胁到俄罗斯”时，普京这样回答！]5月15日，普京在北京召开了针对俄罗斯媒体的记者会。会上有记者问普京，是否担心中国的强大会在经济方面吞没俄罗斯时，普京表示，俄罗斯不会畏惧任何国家。同时他强调，“中国的行动不存在任何危险，中国没有要吞没别国的目标，我们两国在所有事务上都赞同彼此，我们不会做任何可能损害我们自身的决定，所以这有什么可担心的？”。普京还赞扬了中国市场的开放程度，称自己在与欧洲大企业代表会谈时，共同感受就是：中国的经济开放程度令人“震惊”。
