Hey guys, I have a couple questions.

Currently I just run Minerexd CPU Miner and CUDAMiner cause I have a 660ti.....
So it's pretty easy, I run the .bat CMDs and it all works

I am building a LTC/FTC mining rig with a 7950 and my other superclocked 570
So Obviously I will have to still run CUDAMiner on the 570

But for the 7950 I'm wondering which is better, Reaper or CGMiner, really haven't looked into them since I dont have an AMD card until now.
Also is GUIMiner beneficial or not, do I need it, will it hurt performance? Never really looked into it

Also...I would love to get this rig all setup PERFECT, does anyone have links to all of the CMDs I can setup so that as soon as the computer turns it opens all the mining programs and goes to work, and the ones where if it loses power, it auto turns on and does the same thing. I eventually would like to use a headless miner, using Teamviewer cause I will be running it on Windows 7 or 8 if people say 8 will get me better performance in mining.

ALSO....with this two card setup, will I need to make a dummy plug(s) for the card(s) ?

Appreciate all the help

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

It's best to try a bunch of settings/clients out first. I've seen slightly higher numbers with Reaper, but I could never get it working 100% (connection issues), so I'm using CGMiner by default with a pair of 7850's. You might as well make a dummy plug as you can get a 50 pack of resistors from eBay for $0.99, just in case (for context)

EDIT:
GUIMiner is just a frontend for Reaper/CGMiner, it's not needed, it does help with trying different settings quickly and not resorting to .bat files. I like just using .bat files, but GUIMiner is great for trial and error before nailing down final stable settings in bat format.

Okay thank you very much, and like I said with this setup of a 570 and a 7950, using on monitor to run the .bat windows. Would I need a dummy plug for that 570? Also does anyone know where I can look up all the commands to enter to do the things I requested before (like when power is loss, the computer starts right back up and when it starts back up it starts mining again) stuff like that?
