you can take advantage of services like gyft to buy gift cards and save up on a lot of money.

you can just holding them in cold storage (if that secure way to keep them you found is the same). and just hold them for a long time and wait for the price to reach a big number (many say 10K)

It is not a good idea to spend them right now If you are just going to use them for small purchase because of high fees and high confirmation time. So the best move right now is to HODL your bitcoins and wait for the time when segwit or if other scaling solution is activated. whats your plan for bitcoin? did you buy them just to be be able to spend them? i hightly doubt that youd go through the whole conversion process just to spend them on something else. don't be like me and sell them for a small profit, if you decide to hold them. there are lot of problems with confirmation times and transactions times at the moment, so try not to use them for any small purchases, or the fee-to-transaction ratio is gonna be tremendous. honestly, i would just hold them and see where it goes from there. the price, regardless of all the bs going on at the moment, should continue to rise, as it is the gold standard of cryptocurrencies.

to my knowledge hardware wallets are very similar to USB disks and because of that they are subjected to same flaws. flaws such as loss of data because of not being connected to a power source.

in other words if you store your bitcoin on a hardware wallet and keep it 10 or 20 years without connecting that wallet to your USB port at least once a month you may lose all your money!

He needs to write private key down anyway. Well actually private key is more important then the hard wallet. Hard wallet only lets you send bitcoin to other addresses.
Anyway, if this thing would really happen (hard wallet lost data), you can probably just rewrite private key and everything should work fine. Right?

Speaking in terms of safety, there is no guarantee yet that the price of Bitcoin would remain on the increase. As with every other financial asset out there, price do reverse from time to time and with the speculative nature of Bitcoin, one cannot not say for sure how far price can go the other way, before reversing.

It is so hilarious how people are getting into some investments but they don't have a certain knowledge about it, and now that they know that their gonna profit with bitcoin and they can have money with it, that is the only thing they know and they don't have a single idea on how to increase and make their money profit, and yes this question are newbie type of question, but I guess before getting engage with some investment type of thing try to think if you have the knowledge to do it and if you can surely profit when you engage from the start. and just like stompix have said if you just want to invest and that is all you know hide your bitcoin for 10 years and see the difference from that 10 years.

It is so hilarious how people are getting into some investments but they don't have a certain knowledge about it, and now that they know that their gonna profit with bitcoin and they can have money with it, that is the only thing they know and they don't have a single idea on how to increase and make their money profit

It is your bitcoin you can surely do a lot of things with it, but I think you need to spend it wisely just like money you can never know when an emergency might occur and you will really need something at hand, so I guess spend it on the needed ones for your family and your house and just save the rest of it for a very important matter.

All i can say is that you can do what you want and also you can buy what you want with your bitcoins but you must spend it carefully so that if there are important matters thay needs money youll have enough money to spend.Dont spend it like your a One day millioner.
