With daily price swings as large as 100% you don't care about 2-3% more expensive to buy, you use what is most convenient.

I think there is no way to buy altcoin with the cheap prices now, If you want, you can buy some new altcoins which are potential. And I think in the next year you can earn a goodd amount of money with them

Buying in exchange for BTC is definitely one of the options. But buying with fiat is not that popular. That said, for some of these altcoins, it is really profitable to do mining. The ROI varies from coin to coin. Need to make detailed analysis, before jumping in to the mining scene.

I would love to agree with this since their are more certain potential coin right now has been dump due to the rise of bitcoins but provably the price of the said coin will go stretch by the time that bitcoins price would go stable nor people will cameback for it and stake for their own good. But i can't name the potential coins so early since their are so many of them has just been newly finished on their crowdfund.

yes if you want to buy any altcoin you need to pay transaction fee,  no matter either you are using any exchange you need to pay tax on it. to me do not think that there is such a big difference between the transaction fee of all the exchanges, so you must have to pay transaction fee i you want to buy any altcoin.
