Im here to introduce PrisonCoin

As we all know the US locks up fellow citizens on a record braking level, Private Prison booms and Schools became worse and worse which leads to even more prisoners.

Our corrent Prison population is about 2.23 Million inmates and as many coins will be in circulation, however more coins will be mined, growth of prison population is between 2-5% a year and this amount will be able to mined.

The first 2.23 Million coins will be premined but sold off entirely in a public ICO

0.1 Percent of any coin available will be distributed to Prisoners we are working on a cash card which prisoners can actually use in Prison as payment Method or they will receive it once they leave the prison system. We plan on working on a contract where we distribute those coins to the prisoners, cash or debit cards will also be available in the near future

We will also try to peg the Coin  to 1 to the prison population and either create more coins to catch up or also send coins that are to much to bogus addresses were they will be destroyed.

Make money now of our Prison population and help them the same time.

If interessted on working or contributing to this coin/ Project send me an email to admin@darknetguru.org

Is that your business plan?

Sell useless coins to suckers on the internet and then give away 0.1 percent of those useless coins to inmates in the USA?

It seems as though while you have great intention here, you'd more likely be aiding the whole "profit-for-prison" argument.

You may have good luck pitching this to a politician. I bet they'd be all for it xD.

And how the prisoners will use those coins? And for what?
I thought that the prisoners  use cigars as a currency.
This is way too revolutionary.

prisoners dont have internet access and not most of them have computers so the walets of the prisoners will be stored on the Prison computers and every prisoner will receive his own wallet, where they will be able to make purchases

It works already basically like that, prisoners dont have money there money is stored on accounts for them or they can buy in some prisons kind of debit cards which they can use in vending machines, down the road we will also offer to prisoner rfid chips where they can just pay directly from their hand.

This however will cause complications because 1 prisoner can just cut out the rfid chip of another prisoner and so rob him, right now we not really sure on how to implement rfid chips but this will not be a big issue.

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

lol apart from the name nothing is creative about the project.Wait, how exactly are prisoners benefiting from this ? You take some data and made that a name of a coin.Wow,really interesting. You are going to distribute coins to the prisoners ? lol How ?
I'm still amused how did you came up with this idea. Also, they're in a prison for a reason. They're criminals, let them be there as if we don't have enough criminals in the crypto community.

Concoin is existing already and you have the same concept by using prisoners in your ICO but suddenly i think they failed since for thinking how could this e currency used by prisoners? while they have limited access on everything beneath them.

And how could you do some unique advertising? while you don't have decent ANN and anything appealing thing that can lure those possible investors.

They can hustle' for a trezor wallet, could they ? I've also heard rumors about Taliban Terrorists controlling Afghan wars from Guantanamo Bay. Tongue
Pablo Escobar ran the World's biggest Drug cartel from a prison.Do you still think using a crypto task for prisoners ?

And how could you do some unique advertising? while you don't have decent ANN and anything appealing thing that can lure those possible investors.

So it comes with an ICO of course?

I don't see how this would have any good use by your target market at all... Do they even have such a need in the first place? Maybe think about what is the problem you are trying to solve..

This time it's different.

I'd be candid to this campaign. At first glance, it's not appealing at all and the name is not convincing that is important to attract people to invest and use the coins. I thought you were joking right there but not.

prisoners dont have internet access and not most of them have computers so the walets of the prisoners will be stored on the Prison computers and every prisoner will receive his own wallet, where they will be able to make purchases

After I read this, it makes some sense but maybe it is not an appropriate use for normal people, normal citizens but rather it would be good for it to be used as a monetary system for prisoners that is for easy monitoring with the money that come in and out so that they can track any suspicious activities going on inside the prison. You might want to suggest that to the specific government officials particularly at DOJ who manage these prisons. This would promote a more strict monitoring to prisoners so that they can pay for the crime(s) they have committed and not to live in VIP secretly. Though it would be better if its not a chip or something attached to their body but maybe like an ID which there are some sort of barcode to identify them with a limit as to what they can spend and this is where all there money to be received that is the money send to them.

But releasing it here with people who are not prisoners then aurely it will not click but might as well go with the prisoners they might favor it.

I read these posts but I'm not seeing the actual use case. The title sounded really interesting, but your posts make this sound 100% like a scam...can you explain in basic words what this coin does?

Agreed. This seems like the classic ICO scam. Very vague information available on what the coin is actually about and the developer is not even publicly known or any sort of public figure for thaht matter.

The idea is good, however have you even thought about how you are going to implement this into prisons? I'm sure you will encounter some problems with the US corrections department. I'm assuming you want the coin to be able to be traded on exchanges publicly. Right now prison tokens cannot be exchanged for real cash, so how will your idea work?

The coin you thinking of is convict coin or concoin. It is like this but better and is not fake the prisoners have written in and there is proof. It's actually a very clever idea together cons to be productive and earn coins rather then hurt one another.

Will the prisoners also mine the coins with stolen computer equipment hidden in the roof? Read this as a matter of interest, http://www.coindesk.com/ohio-inmates-found-using-bitcoin-prison-fraud-bust/ I cannot see why the community must get involved with this? Each U.S. resident is paying about $260 per year on corrections, up from $77 per person in 1980, thanks to the country's annual $80 billion price tag for incarceration, according to a new report from The Hamilton Project, which is part of Washington, D.C., think tank The Brookings Institution.

If this initiative were to fund job opportunities for released prisoners to help them not to turn back to crime after their release, I would have seriously considered it. ^hmmmmmm^
